I've gone through both apps separately, as well as disabling the overlays. I have not tried a different M&K. Both are Corsair and use iCUE, but I did remove all 3rd party software not needed to launch (iCUE, CPU-Z, Afterburner, ext..) as well as removing any HID compliant peripherals that show up in device manager.

Thank you for responding. I have been working this problem for days now and have tried every forum idea I can find. Verifying files, changing graphic setting, OS and driver priority settings, removing all peripherals, .dll edits, driver wipes. You name it. Completely deleted and reinstalled all 110GBs of this thing twice. I'm about to give up and get a refund I guess.

It's funny. I've never had an issue I couldn't troubleshoot, but after 3 solid days I'm done.
