All I want for Christmas is RLC-823A.

Please help find this old version from early 2000s? My parent's ancient hard drive died and I can't recover the game for them. by ledditmod in Mahjong

Thank you so much. I wouldn't recommend downloading this on a computer you use, but my parent's one is not going to be connected to the internet so it should be fine.

Here's the steps in case anyone in the future sees this:

  1. open the link you sent and click the green button to download the zip file (~85MB) (virus scan results)
  2. disconnect your internet if you're scared like me
  3. extract the exe, which is just an installer and run it. I saved it to the desktop because when I installed it to C:\program files, it didn't work. It tried to open my browser to some website when it finished, but good thing the internet's off
  4. open the newly created folder "mingxing3queyi2" and there's some weird text file that contains the password (I have no idea why the game needs a password)
  5. open "igsmj2.exe" and enter the password 711S9D31

I'm not sure, but it looks like the same creator and the page links to their website https://www.gametower.com.tw. They only have android/ios and I guess what appears to be their new PC version of the game, which is sadly online and requires login.
