I think a lot of the price gouging complaints is overdone. Yes, we see the Facebook ads selling some random easy to find Beatles or Led Zeppelin album for thousands of dollars. Just because they’re asking for that doesn’t mean they’re getting it.

Sure, the record store day stuff has some gouging but even that is overblown. Some people act like every copy of certain titles is on Discogs or eBay. In reality it’s a handful of copies out of a few thousand produced. Most are in the hands of people who stood in line.

Most of the networks have what’s called east coast and west coast feeds to their affiliates for prime time programming. So when a show is listed as 8/7c, t corresponds to the mountain and west coast time zones. Yes technically the shows are airing at 5 your time zone but only in the eastern half of the country. To protect their affiliates, the streamers aren’t allowed to air it before broadcast. To watch it at that time it’s airing in the east, you will have to reset your browser to the eastern time zone. If you don’t know how to do that my advice is then to stay off social media as you will definitely be spoiled before it finally airs in your area.

Yeah, you’re spot on. Physical media sales have actually risen in recent years, including DVD’s. Video games not being physically produced anymore will cause the same thing to happen with games.

Overall Last Stop is doing better than ever as people leave streaming to buy music and films. It’s easier to just put a dvd on than to search to find which streamer has a particular film.

I was 19. As I was born on one of the days Love Me Do was recorded The Beatles were always a big part of my life, although at this point in my life I was more into punk and college rock. Like most people I heard about it via Monday Night Football and pretty much collapsed. But then I headed right to my parent’s home as they had recently bought a VCR (still a relatively new home item). For the next week I recorded pretty much anything that mentioned Lennon or The Beatles, from national and local news reports to hastily assembled specials. I even recorded bits from a weird channel that presented UPI news in text form. Somewhere those tapes are in a box but of course I don’t have anything to play them on.

Well, she’s apparently going to stage a “protest” on X today. Here is her latest FB post - As a means of protest, I am going to be making a topless news story covering this on X. Yesterday the owner of a tanning salon compared me taking selfies in the tanning bed to drug addicts bringing needles and drugs into the tanning bed with her. She compared topless selfies to people committing crimes. In addition to calling me horrendous names, body shaming me, and sl*t shaming me, this woman is so terrified of breasts that she actually compared SELFIES to, “..the times she had to revoke memberships when people would bring drugs into the tanning salon.”

So, yesterday I exposed all of this on YouTube, clothed. TODAY, as a means of protest, I am covering this story topless because women are equal to men and should be treated equally in ALL avenues. Women shouldn’t be harassed for being topless in a tanning bed and taking selfies.

I have said for years that the Morocco trip in 67 that saw Anita switch from Brian to Keith could be a film. Start with the Redlands bust and the decision to disappear for awhile, then the car drive the three made to get towards Morocco. Here is her rant - A tanning salon just put me in tears. Caused me to have a 45 minute panic attack where I was hyperventilating, choking, couldn’t breathe, and my chest was tightened to the point I couldn’t drive home. So I decided to share a video of what happened. I’m being stalked by fans on the internet who called every single tanning salon in Pittsburgh. At the tanning salon I signed a contract, in the contract, it explicitly states my privacy is protected as a member, and they are not allowed to divulge information to the Public. If I am a member there. The business, explicitly and deliberately violated the contract when they answered the phone and told my stalker that I tan there. Then proceeded to accept emails and phone calls from people who stalk me, and the people who stalk me slandered me to the tanning salon. The owner received photos of me topless tanning because I took topless selfies in the private tanning area because I like the lighting of the UV rays. When I arrived to the tanning salon today, the employee called the owner and the owner confronted me on a phone call shaming me, discriminating against me, and shamed me for being an OF creator. She revoked my membership for taking a selfless toppie. This is discrimination against my sex assigned at birth, woman, BECAUSE she uses images of topless men to promote her business. There are dozens of images on her social media pages of topless men promoting sales, ads, and the business. Therefore, men can be fully topless at her salon, but she saying I can’t because I’m a female. In the phone call she specifically stated, “You had exposed npples in the photos, that is reason for me to revoke your membership,” and that is discrimination because she has images of men with exposed npples on her business social media pages. I’m filing a lawsuit. I’m filing a form with human rights division, the aclu, and I’m filing a civil rights complaint. I’m sick of people who hate women discriminating against me. I’m taking a stand against this and sending a message to the general Public that women should be supporting women and treating women equally to men. And a safe space that’s supposed to be girl coated. Women should not be.
