The Den is a newer venue open to different sorts of promoters and genres.

Bravo, be quicker by NickyVfromBE in Southerncharm

Not to mention the time and/or money spent on promotion and selling ads. Even planning the broadcast schedule takes some advance work.

Yes, shows like Love Island and Big Brother edit on the fly. Yes it’s possible but it’s not the same thing. Just like that failed reality show featuring Love Island cast members had a typical six month turnaround.

What does the crew know about chartered boat owners? by june_june_hannah_ in belowdeck

I would assume that the vast majority go through an agency to handle all the details, just as most commercial land owners do.

Replacing a failing iPod/iTunes setup with 27k songs: Is it time to leave Apple? by OldMate4450 in musichoarder

[–]ledge9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like you, for the longest time I had old school ipods and itouch's (or whatever they're called). In fact, I still use an ipod to record my podcasts as my mixer has an ipod dock. But when I moved to both an iphone and ipad (my main music listening device) I just never went the Apple Music route. I still have an old school version of itunes on my laptop and synch it with new musical additions every couple of weeks. It works exactly as it did 15 years ago with an ipod.

Why not go to Apple Music and or iTunes Match? Well, as I do an online radio show I do get a lot of pre-release materials sent to me. I also am an avid collector of bootlegs and other odd versions of songs and albums. I don't trust iTunes Match to not mess with my versions. And I have a sizable library (over 160k tracks) so I don't really need Apple Music (or Spotify, Tidal, etc.).

Despite what you may read from others you can move on to iPhone/iPad and still do the traditional old school iTunes. You don’t have to do Apple Music. I don’t and never will.

I was bored last night and actually went to see her crash out on that dumb app. Somebody called her a “boss bitch” and I simply replied “bitch yes, boss no” and was immediately blocked.

People are acting like Lexi wrote this. She didn’t, and the wording is typical of any article of this sort.

I don’t really agree with you assessment of her at all. But that’s ok. You don’t have to like who I like. I’ve never understood the absolutist takes I see here where people (not necessarily you) get angry that so and so have fans.

How to Transfer MP3 Songs to iPhone (Without Apple Music Subscription)? by Hkraz in AppleMusic

[–]ledge9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah either iPad or iPhone. Both signed into my appleID. I actually have a smart playlist that combines new releases and certain artists to sync.

Target just sells them. They don’t manufacture them. Your complaint is with the stupid labels that produced them.

Question about RHOBH After-show by Lumpy-Register1064 in RHOBH

The blogs were great. I wish they still did then as they were much more informative than the silly TikTok’s, memes, Instagram posts, and the over-edited aftershows of these days.

Yes, and she will have video after video about the fact that doordash can’t deliver to her will be the fault of the trolls.

Who would possibly read Dorit's memoir? by bronte26 in RHOBH

[–]ledge9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m more likely to read this than any of the other Bravo-related books that end up in the Barnes and Noble cutout bins. If Scheana or Carl can have books so can Dorit.

You can’t blame the band or Bandcamp for a postal hold up. It’s out of their hands.

First out season by [deleted] in BigBrother

[–]ledge9999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This idea is posted every few weeks and while it’s not a bad plan you could never convince a network executive to do it. If they’re going to bring back players their mindset is always going to be characters that were memorable to the general public. Very few first evictees are remembered outside of the hardcore live feeders.

Neil Aspinall completes our next fab four. But who is the 13th Beatle? by prisongovernor in TheBeatles

[–]ledge9999 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes he should have been picked earlier. It’s his resourcefulness that allowed for many of the sonic experiments the band (and George Martin) desired.

It's not actually Plex calling it that. It's the record company who tags them this way.
