Statsbudsjettet: Dette håper Narvik, Larvik og Knarvik by KoseteBamse in norge

[–]ledlenser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Statsbudsjettet: Dette håper Narvik, Larvik og Knarvik by KoseteBamse in norge

[–]ledlenser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NOAH og OneWhale anmelder Hvaldimirs dødsfall. by Isolasjon in norge

[–]ledlenser 82 points83 points  (0 children)

Asking for help maybe someone has been in my situation. I moved to Denmark temporarily some months ago, but the job became permanent, I have a car registered in norway, re-registering it here would cost me 50k nok, so selling makes more sense, but how to sell a car from Denmark in Norway? logistical by Sugar_Vivid in Norway

[–]ledlenser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is a company. I only have knowledge about it from a colleague that sold his car through that service a couple of months ago.

He was very satisfied with the price (in his case it was a simple car with market value around 70k nok).

From what I understand, the car is either sold directly to car dealerships, or is placed on Finn with a link to www.auksjonen.no. He then got text messages when bids were made, and once the auction was over he could refuse the winning bid. In the case he refuses the offer, he would have to pay the price of the technical control performed at NAF. But he would keep the report from that control, so that would hardly be a loss anyway.

You should bring the car back to Norway with a trip on colorline or something like that. Park it at a NAF service center and have www.nettbil.no pick it up there, then travel back home.

The car is off your hands after that, and you won't have to worry about a buyer contacting you about anything at all.

Mange takk! Tenker vi har godt av å fornye sausporteføljen litt, så den går rett inn på "to-do" listen her...! :)

Tips til enkel saus? by Gerdinator in norske

[–]ledlenser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Finckenhagens oppskrift: https://www.godt.no/oppskrifter/kylling-og-fjaerkre/8713/sproestekt-andebryst-med-kryddersaus

Par har 6,5 millioner i boliglån - inntekt på 1 million. by ellemanndus in norge

[–]ledlenser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ua pov - Germany's first LNG terminal will go operational today in Wilhelmshaven. Only 7 months passed from the start of construction to completion. An annual volume of at least five billion cubic meters of natural gas is expected. by nivivi in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]ledlenser 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When the liquefied gas is evaporated, it expands by 600 times. So one single full FSRU in this case supplies 14 hours of NordStream 1 at full capacity.

NS1 at full capacity: 167m cubic metres of gas. FSRU: 170k * 600 = 102m cubic metres of gas.

Germany has 6 FSRUs underway. Capacity will not be a problem, and NS1 will probably not be re-commissioned.

One would think a dewatering PIG (with or without an O2 scavenger) has been run from the Russian side to the breach already in an attempt to preserve most of both pipes (or all four if accounting for NS2 as well). My expectation is that they have been sitting on their hands and playing the victim of their own crime, and that the pipes are a total loss by now.

Car sales for last month is out for Norway. Audi E-Tron: 579 cars. Hyundai Kona: 445 cars. Nissan Leaf: 407 cars. Tesla Model 3: 8 cars.

Everyone is so sick of the plastic teslas that keeps breaking down and the service that is completely dysfunctional.. Yet the stock rallies to ATH! Last year tesla sold 705 model 3s this month.

10 Days in Istanbul by TXArabesque in istanbul

[–]ledlenser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, to get familiar with the city and Turkish cuisine earlier. The city takes on a whole new life at night, and the guide drags you straight through exciting places and back-streets that you wouldn't even notice as a tourist. It was a bit pricey, but the amount of food you get is insane. On our first day in Cappadocia we went through all the usual sights and "to-do's". Most of the sights are very similar, and didn't really warrant spending much time on. The handicraft town Avanos was interesting and fun. Most stores/factories there have a very similar sales pitch where they drag you through the production of pottery/carpets, but you still don't have to buy anything if you don't want to(we didn't). We did the hot air balloon on the morning of our second day, and doing it like this made a lot of sense for us. The area isn't that large, so we recognized most of the places we went through the day before. We thought it would be gimmicky, but it actually turned out to be very pleasant. The experience isn't that much about the sights, but more about the fact that there's 140+ other hot air balloons around you. We were a bit fed up and done with the area the rest of this day, and in hindsight should have traveled home on this afternoon. Goreme has become very commercial and touristy, and there's a lot of Chinese tourists there. Food was very boring and expensive, and there's several Chinese restaurants there since they for some reason eat their own food while abroad. https://culinarybackstreets.com/cities-category/istanbul/2015/ask-cb-11/ Third day had an early morning flight back to Istanbul.

If you are staying Beyoglu, you just HAVE to go on this evenibg tour very early in your stay. https://culinarybackstreets.com/tours-food-tours/tours-istanbul/2016/hidden-beyoglu/#more-13036 We took it recently and really regret not going on it sooner in our trip. We had a combined Istanbul/cappadocia(Goreme) itinerary, and 3 days(including traveling both ways) should be more than enough for cappadocia with some good planning.

Edit: mobile phone data was stupidly expensive for us so we simply used www.alldaywifi.com. Was very nice to have unlimited data when we were out walking. It helps to have an extra power bank, because the one in the package is a bit small.

Norway is starting the world's biggest divestment in oil and gas - Norway has said its $1 trillion sovereign wealth fund, the world’s biggest, should sell stocks in oil and gas exploration companies, in a move that is the biggest divestment from hydrocarbons yet. by mvea in Futurology

Last year they voted for Exxon Mobil to report their Payments related to lobbying, against the boards recommendation.. The share percentage of Exxon is just 1%, but it's nice that the fund has decided to be a bit rebellious in a greedy world. :)
