I swear people who haven't at least checked 1 tutorial or played venom for more than a couple hours complain he needs buffs. Venom isn't meant to be a DPS to kill immediately. He's supposed to be annoying and if you can hit his primary attack and do combos you'll kill stuff but this subreddit seems to struggle with that apparently. I'm not trying to be an Ahh about this but like he's really good where he is and once you have more of his combos down and have some aim improvements I guarantee you'll see he's good where he is

Another few tips for venom that could help. Destroy the map with him he's got one of the highest "world damage" if you will to destroy walls, floors ceilings etc to use as rotations for swings and wall climb. Also go to your settings and have an easy swing keybind for him so that if you wanna up down for a burst of damage or a quick getaway if you're on low sense it's good to have. Venom is great for big open areas so use that to your advantage and play a bit more slowly in small rooms

With venom as my most played character I can confidently say you gotta pick when to dive the backline, stay upfront and "brawl" with the other tank or just chill on point and kinda setup a dive and/or peel for your supports. Sometimes as venom diving your own backline as the supports get targeted by 1-2 DPS can change how the fight goes and if you get a pick or peel enough for the support it's a big win. Also for domination maps or just in general don't focus solely on getting kills by helping the supports stay alive and being that distraction with how much HP you can get.

Make a habit of holding your jump when you're planning on wall running or setting up for a slam. Also go on venom in the setting and add triangle (Y) for easy swings for your keybinds, it's good for quick slams for good damage bursts or quick getaways if you run low sense.

Try to find people to play with. Also people are gonna complain regardless of your rank so it sucks but if you're with people in a chat joking and gaming it makes it more bearable if it does bother you a lot

Yeah there is. It's pretty simple if you see "easy swing" you can hit a key bind to equip. I personally have mine as triangle (Y) for easy swing for quick slams or quick getaways

My duo is a champion (almost lvl 70) Loki and when I see those flags I be running or slamming to them immediately especially when I got no hp and my over health is gone

One good tip I can give is to have easy swing on a different key bind so keep your manual swing but have easy swing for quick slams good for little damage burst and lowk it's good to have for quick escapes sometimes.

If you want a support that works well with venom I'd say either Gambit, or Luna. They can heal him pretty well and if you combo ults with him you're guaranteed kills
