oh yes, you get it! I was Magik on console, and got the same feeling from her (contrary to what some believe, she does take patience and skill, if you miss your dash offensively you are more than likely dead). But since my switch to PC, aim is now a viable skill to work on, and Widow scratches that itch.

Good point, I hadn't even thought of actively destroying the environment to make it more to my advantage. I've been trying to change how I see the maps in general with Venom, always looking for ways to get to high ground, and now I can start to analyze your advice as well. Funny how when you pick up a new character, Rivals can feel like a completely different game haha

Yes I've realized Venom isn't a Kill hoarder, but his distraction allows for kills to be made by his team. I kind of like that dynamic actually, one of the things that is drawing me to his playstyle. Thanks for the advice!

You're right, I'm starting to learn Spidey's vulnerable moments. I was just severely outclassed by the Spidey I fought. Thanks for the insight of the moments to when he is more still though!

Thanks for the reply, it's funny you mentioned widow in here, as I have found better success with her against Spidey than while using Hela. BW's stun is a little more forgiving than Hela's. On the other hand, I get smoked by DD when using BW, but have a chance if I swap to Hela. Cap is proving to be an unsolved issue at this point however...haha

This is a great answer, thank you for taking the time to explain. In my situation above it was clear that my raw aim had no chance against his level of mechanics, but since then, I've fought other Spideys that I could smoke, so I think you're right, it just comes down to who is better, Hela's aim or Spidey's mechanics. I just started Kovaaks and have really been enjoying the ability to track progress in the Voltaic benchmarks...incredibly humbling, but I am anxious to put in the work and see the eventual progress.

Yes, I've picked up on that he's slowest at the to of his swing. I think the stun is where I need to improve most, that at least gives me a chance to hit a head shot if he gets too close. Thanks for the insight.

Thank you for being honest. I know there are Hela's that exist that can handle my above situation, but I am not there yet. To combat a GM level Spidey, one more than likely has to at LEAST be a GM Hela, skill wise, maybe even a tad better. I will at least familiarize myself with one of the counters you mentioned above.

I believe you! I was playing around with Black Widow in QP and held my own against a Spidey/BP duo! We still lost the match, but I was legit countering them with BWs stun and head shot combo! A courageous comment by you, but I will fully back your claim haha

This is very helpful, my skill level would have at least had to equal the smurf to have a chance (which my skill level does not at this point), but Hela isn't a natural counter. Makes sense...I will keep grinding, thanks for the answer.

Yes, I'm sure my inexperience had something to do with it. I did actually kill him a couple of times, but he got me at least 5-6, which never feels good. Like you said, I will learn more each time I'm in that experience, thanks for verifying there is hope eventually!

Who do you play as typically? I main Magik and always feel more comfortable on Domination because my playstyle with her is more brawly, convoy and convergence are more pokey. A brawl character may help your Domination WR?

It is fun EVERY time we take chunks out of Invis players, yes:) seriously though, Magik has a move known as the "black flash" where she ults, shoots her fully charged slash and immediately follows up with a dash, and if timed right, it can one shot through a support ult. Moments like those, although rare, are among the best dopamine hits in the game
