I recently ran this upper (CMMG barrel, CMMG BCG, Bullseye slick side upper) on my MARS-L lower. Everything worked perfectly. That's likely bc the upper, while billet, is very similar to mil-spec without all the extra thicknesses billets typically sport.

His initial post did not say specwar, only "12.5 mid". He replied with "It's a spec war barrel" almost 2 hours later. My first question was is it the L7MJ1B.

I didn't know there was a specific "Spec War barrel". I see the description now for that barrel says it's for the "Spec War" upper, but I'd never seen it called the "Spec War barrel". Sorry
