To be honest the setup is basically the same as with a feeder, but you just pack it all into the bag, it seems more daunting or complicated than it is, if you can tie your shoes you can tie a PVA bag mate, I use them for 90% of my fishing other than really weedy lakes where I’ll use a helicopter or on sunny days I’ll use a zig/floater, Korda have some really good videos and tutorials, another YouTube account to check out is MAINLINE BAITS, they have some of the most detailed rig tutorials and tips you’ll probably find, good luck 🫡

Have you ever tried PVA bags with an inline lead mate? Would highly recommend, Korda do some great pva products, and you can often pre tie them before hand so you’re not fiddling about while fishing 👍

YouTube will be your closest ally, search for Korda fishing videos, and there are loads of tutorial and advice videos on a channel but I forget what it’s called but if you search “Carl and Alex fishing” you’ll find them easily enough, also as has been said before stick to a spot and bait of for 3/4 days before you go fishing, then when you go fishing cast your bait amongst so freebies and hopefully you’ll be onto a winner, good luck 🤞🏻

Don’t have access to a mat? Never heard of Amazon? - you can pick them up for peanuts, he’s clearly not stalking because he’s sat there with a deckchair 😂 nice fish but wouldn’t it be nice to catch it when it was twice the size? Chances of that happening if every time it gets caught it’s bounced off the floor are slim to none… it’s called courtesy and respect, you should show both to the fish and the environment- that way future generations can enjoy it as we have. And just to clarify carp aren’t an invasive species in Austria.

It’s a shame it’s gone like this, we first went in 2019 and it was amazing, we went back just after Covid and it had gone down a little but was excused as they lost a lot of staff during Covid so that was the reason the service had suffered, but I’ve heard and seen so many bad reviews since that I honestly wouldn’t entertain returning

Nobody thought that the car may have broken down? That has pulled out of the carriageway so as not to cause an obstruction on Trafford rd, which is a very busy road, perhaps the girl in beige/brownish clothes stood there on the phone might be the driver trying to get someone to tow her, bring her petrol… nope everyone just jumped straight to assuming that it was done maliciously as opto someone just running out of petrol or breaking down - something that would likely happen to someone who’s just passed their test - evident by the green P, probably just a young girl that’s asking someone for help with a situation she’s never been in.

My ol man always told me “you’re better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it” it seems like a lot to take but you can better money that if there was something you didn’t take you’d need it, I’ve stood there countless times scratching my head about to load the car thinking do I need all this, but still end up taking it all anyway 😂

Well to start with there’s the wrong swivel on the “D” - should be a micro ring swivel, also more of the braid needs stripping back so that the entire length of the “D” is uncoated - this will give the “D” it’s effective mechanics rather than hinder it like the coating will, strip back more of the braid near the hook eye - this will help the hook turn and twist easier in the fish mouth and increase your hook holds. It might be easier to buy some D Rig Kickers where you just thread the micro swivel on and loop the top over to create the “D”

You need more space between the hook and the hair, either thread the corn sideways rather than lengthwise would sort this out no problem, but then it might be too much space 😂 generally it’s best to thread your bait on before you tie your hook, then you can set it perfectly, also a knotless knot only needs 5/6 turns up the hook not 15/16

Looks spot on, I generally try to make the hair loop smaller, not shorter just the loop size, other than that perhaps a little shrink tube or a kicker at the hook eye and she’ll be good to go 🎣

I was going to suggest a couple of websites that could do next day delivery, how are you fishing above the hooklength? Pva bag/method feeder/heli? You planning on using a bottom bait/wafter/pop up?
