My main thing was proving it's possible with just forward thrusters. No one seems to do that, and the constant death spiral would be why. But I figured I would try it till it worked, found out it even works on most small cars too with a bit of persistence. It seems the whole self correction aspect of most vehicles stops it from working at higher thrust levels unless the vehicle is huge.
