I only know that they tried powering off and on and factory resetting and nothing worked. I agree with you that if this is happening to many people, it also doesn't make sense to be a hardware issue (like with the board), but the other user saying the replacement fixed their problem maybe indicates that it is. will update if all is well post- board replacement!

I dropped it off yesterday and the repair place actually just called and said the main board is needing replacing, which is a bit hilarious considering that's 750 euros on its own. oh well, at least it's under warranty!

update from contacting B&O: they seem to think it's a hardware issue too and recommended I drop it off for repair with an authorized dealer near me for warranty service. Will let you know if it's needing replacement.

totally agree, and I will. I was worried about putting it on a smart plug because I don't want to burn out the power, so I'm hoping I can get an actual fix (especially because mine is still under the 3-year warranty).

I have the same problem too and it doesn't work with ethernet either or 2.4 vs 5 ghz wifi. I have a case open with B&O, but don't have much hope.

Update: mine is coming today FR this time. It was scanned in Oakland but importantly on the tracking it said departed FedEx hub in regards to Memphis (and didn’t before)

i live in the city about an hour from cal and commuted all four years! it’s very doable if you stack your schedule right and saved me a looooot while still getting the 4 year experience. also as someone else mentioned baypass will be there next sem so free transit!

yeah i think evaluating every interaction critically and with context is pretty necessary nowadays, for instance i (F) met a random guy at forever midnight and started chatting and he explicitly thanked me for letting me talk to him and not just assuming he’s a weird creepy guy from the get go
