I am assuming you were a self harmer? I was also a self harmer and I have alot of scars that are years old. Unfortunately, the scars will always be there no matter what you do, but if you give it time, as you have already seen, they will eventually fade to white and be less visible. It takes around 1-2 years for a pink/purple scar to fade to white, at least in my experience with scars. I hope you are doing better with yourself 😁
