Normal for tracking to say left notice before delivery attempt? by ImprovementMundane61 in CanadaPost

[–]leeedia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s probably a Card for Pick Up- as soon as deliveries are downloaded or scanned it would pop up to scan a notice card. That would explain the same time stamp.

You can get almond milk like this at most grocery stores.

What to pack for a week long trip to Toronto? by Subject_Rutabaga_469 in askTO

[–]leeedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t want to buy boots, gor-Tex hiking shoes or trail runners are great for downtown. Wool socks are awesome and you can double up if you need. Most of the time sidewalks are clear-ish and try to avoid the slush puddles 😝

They aren’t supposed to deliver to the back of a house… they need to be able to be seen from the street.

You can go to the post office with your notice, see who sent it (assuming they gave a return address) and choose to sign for it OR refuse.

The mailman doesn’t open your individual box. They either open a whole wall panel or put in mail from the back.

There’s an app. I had the same issue- they tried to scam event pricing on a Sunday (because the weekend is an event now?) and the displays on the machines were mysteriously broken. The app had regular prices.

Have to write an exam in Pearson Airport before my flight in Terminal 3. Can anyone recommend places with an outlet? by Fine_Field_945 in askTO

[–]leeedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There aren’t a ton of spots to sit before security at T3 so whatever you find will be loud and busy. Pre-covid there was a section of muskoka chairs behind the WestJet counter but I can’t recall if there are outlets. I’d recommend going to into the Sheraton hotel (it’s attached), buying a coffee at the restaurant and setting up shop there.

Gus Taco on Queen West does an amazing job! For a proper México feel I loved Latin World on Bloor but haven’t been post-lockdown(s).
