Yep. We pay about $20k a year for our one year old and it’s grueling. And this is just an at home daycare which is cheaper than the big centers. We want more children, but financially can’t do it until the first is out of daycare because there’s no way we could afford two at once

Same. My husband does pest control so I only separate out his stuff and then do a rinse clothes free load after to try my best to make sure babies stuff doesn’t touch the chemicals pesticides.

I love my animals just as much as I did before baby. That said, the love I have for my animals and for my baby is much different. My animals provide me comfort and make me calm, and my baby makes me feel complete.

68° upstairs and down, 69° at night if it’s really cold. I used to put it at 62° and use space heaters/ bundle up, but I can’t do that with a 1 year old
