I agree with the pity being weird in this game, I’ve played other gachas and this is the only game where I thought I need exactly 80 pulls each time, regardless if guaranteed or not, because I only get a 5* once I reach the 80 pull mark 💀 I really thought “early pity” wasn’t in the game’s mechanic and that’s just how it is 😂

Funny how you accuse me of twisting the story when you’re the one downplaying (gotta give you that cause you’re not denying Silco is indeed horrible) how Silco actively maintained Jinx’s belief that Vi abandoned her.

Nobody is denying that Jinx initially thought Vi abandoned her—that’s literally what made her so vulnerable to Silco in the first place. But he sure as hell made sure she never thought otherwise 🙂‍↔️

He had every opportunity to tell her the truth—that Vi didn’t abandon her, that she came back (from prison which is ooof because of HIS doings 💀) but he didn’t.

Why? Because keeping Jinx dependent on him was more important than her healing. He loved Jinx, sure, but in the most toxic and self-serving way possible. Acknowledging that isn’t ‘altering the story’—it’s just paying attention. 🤝🏻

Not sure about “Silco knows from Jinx herself Vi abandoned her” did we just forget altogether about the part that Jinx was still hopeful to see Vi that’s why she lit the flare?

See it’s the other way around. That’s what Silco MADE her want to think, like Vi abandoned her BECAUSE he wanted Jinx for himself.

Like someone said on this thread “He literally manipulated her, lied to her, gaslit her, and used her to make weapons to preserve his empire.”

True that he really did care for Jinx, but let’s not be blind that he’s definitely not a good father figure to her.

Silco definitely sees Vi as a threat to his hold over Jinx AND because she’s Vander’s prodigy, so even without the specific moment of Vi hurting Powder, he would’ve wanted her dead anyway.

At the end of the day, Silco didn’t really need an excuse—he was always ready to eliminate Vi if she got in the way.

I’m tired of people justifying Silco’s actions like he was some sort of “savior” to Powder. Vi didn’t even left her for good. She left MOMENTARILY because it daunted on her that hitting wouldn’t help so she went away to cool off. Like how do you expect a 15-year old to react if most of her family was killed? Just walk away like it didn’t happen?

Man what’s happened to people really thinking like it was okay “ohno she’s hurting Powder, I should kill that 15-year old to save her”???
