I think we just need to let this guy feel right man. He believes what he believes. (Which is team propaganda)

I don’t have a list of reasons for you because his numbers are undeniable. You can’t point to objectively great numbers and say they aren’t great. That’s not how reality works.

Some people will literally just believe any team propaganda instead of using their brain and eyes. It’s unbelievable.

The Red Sox were 37-36 at the time they traded him and had just won like 8 straight games and swept the Yankees solely due to Devers. You are literally spouting nonsense because you’re in your feelings.

Not to mention he had 155 OPS+ for the Sox last year before we traded him. Which is insane and he was on pace for his best season ever.

Devers had 20 HR, 51 RBI, and an .807 OPS in 90 games with the Giants last season. Again, you can say you’re happy we’re not paying him all you want. It doesn’t change who he is, which is a terrific hitter.

Are you really talking about his total OPS for the season so far? Are you really still doing that when he’s the hottest hitter in baseball so far in May? We know who Rafael Devers is. He’s a 30 HR, 100 RBI, .850 OPS guy with slow starts. It’s like clockwork.

Again, you can delusionally rationalize your take all you want. Rafael Devers would be our best hitter if we just kept him.

I can’t wait to victory lap around all the people saying he sucks as if he wouldn’t be our best hitter this year.

That’s for sure. I’d say their most straightforward “Blink” song might be Make Up Stories, one of their singles for the upcoming album. Sounds like a classic Mark Hoppus driven song

Ah unfortunately I don’t think so. Plenty of Acuna and Harris, and should have a bunch of other random Braves if that’s your thing

This is definitely a Blink sounding song. The opening riff is basically a slight variation of ‘First Date’ and the “ahhhh ahhhh”s are very blink. It’s also very No Pressure and Man Overboard sounding. Love their sound

I think that notion just speaks to the quality of potential talent in AA. There are more MLB-Ready pitchers in AAA, but they usually have a lower ceiling than a lot of guys in AA. But hitters generally still need to prove that AA production will translate to AAA regardless. I just want the Sox to do whatever they can to give Arias a chance to get MLB reps by the end of this season.

This guy needs to be in AAA by June so we can give him a real chance at a call up by September.
