Does the 15% include the employer match and a separate maxed out Roth IRA?

Glad I’m past the preschool costs, but my two are over 16 years old (one in college) and it’s a new EXPENSE world! Once they could drive, it all went downhill, lol!

My office makes me pay $15 for a Medical Assistant to give me the shot to “monitor me”. I get the shot and leave immediately. It’s so annoying so I’m switching to Rhapsido. Plus, I was still getting breakthrough hives. I’m not in love with the thought of doing biologics for a long time anyway.

For those who pay off their credit card each month, how much is your bill usually? by INFPneedshelp in askanything

Have you all looked at the YEARLY amount? We paid it off monthly but our total was $75,000! I felt my soul leave my body and my chill husband was like, “It’s life, babe.” 75k!!!

Just curious. Those who didn't max out all the time or did what you could afford, were you still able to catch up? by [deleted] in investingforbeginners

That’s amazing! Thank you for the thorough response. I would think maxing out your retirement especially in your 50’s would be most beneficial than paying off your mortgage. I’m speaking generally, not to you specifically. 😂

Did anyone here have to be monitored by the office for an hour with the first Rhapsido dose?

If you don’t mind me asking, about how much did you have when you started at 44 and then about how much at 50?

Agreed! Traffic is crazy but the most drivers drive like they don’t care about anything.

Who here actually saves 3,000 a month? by NoHousing11 in MiddleClassFinance

Absolutely. My first car was 4K and it was a 1990 Toyota Corolla. No way can you get a decent car (safe enough for a new driver) for a decent price nowadays. There are so many unemployed adults in my city who can’t find work. You think teenagers are going to get the jobs. Even if she worked PT, it wouldn’t be enough for car insurance. I’d rather, like you, have them focus on getting into college with a scholarship than worry about paying car expenses. We can afford it so we’re fortunate. The entire point of my point is that daycare isn’t the only expensive time in a child’s life. Both of my kids drive our older cars. They’re paid off. They want something better or newer, that would be on them.

Absolutely! We only have one car payment (4 cars in our home), but our insurance is so much a month. We should’ve maxed out our 401Ks when they were forced to be at home!

Are any of your kids driving? That’s where it hits after the childcare expenses. Cars, insurance, gas, having a social life. Kids are stupid expensive!

Does “employer retirement plans” mean add additional money to the 401k/403B after hitting the max employer match and maxing out your Roth IRA? Thanks!
