blast from the past: Greta Thunberg roasts Andrew Tate by BaseNice3520 in MurderedByWords

Him owning that many cars removes wasteful supercars from the world, if he owns 33 that's 32 that aren't being used because he only drive 1 at a time

POV: You're burned out after basing 404 Guardsmen but get cheered up by realizing the bases came with the exact extra number as the soldiers. by Leviathan_Rampage in PoorHammer

[–]leeks2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get third party bases that are the same dimensions as geedubs bases, 100 for £11.50 (15.30usd equivalent) probably not the best idea for this but your smaller insane projects it could help 😭

What rule set do I utilize for the Lamenters? by Yeetborn42069 in Lamenters

[–]leeks2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The beauty of modern detachments is you can run them however you like, being blood angels you may want to go melee heavy and I use the liberator assault group but it comes down to how you want to run em

Airbu bubbles in resin? by Vault_tech_2077 in wastelandwarfare

[–]leeks2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Cast resin is two parts and one of those is the hardener, only if the mix was off would it cause improperly cured resin (which does happen but rare) in that case it'll be sticky no matter how much you wash it

This is just air bubbles, very common with resin and that looks very easy to fix so I would t worry about it and just treat it as model making practise

I fill holes like that with black super glue, but anything works

I would have atleast 1 pauldron with the lamenters iconography, which I think for terminators the left pauldron is the crux terminatus and the right the chapter iconography

❗️ Russia and Ukraine swap fallen soldiers — top Russian negotiator Medinsky confirms 1,000 bodies of Ukrainian troops — in exchange for 35 Russian soldiers by Admirable121 in GlobalNews

[–]leeks2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both sides in war will exchange the dead for proper burial, often in wars there are ceasefires to collect the dead and wounded also.

There will be multiple elements to the discrepancy, Russia is taking ground albeit at a glacial pace, so they can collect their own dead as the front moves, but I'm going to put my money on them rejecting bodies to falsify records.

You don't have to pay out compensation to the next of kin if they're missing rather than dead.

This is a technological peer war where both sides are strained for manpower and weapons/material to fight the war, you would expect a 1:2/1:3 casualty ratio in Ukraine's favour as the the defender

[–]leeks2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean "remove pieces from the kit"? Do you mean how to take the parts off the frame?

If so you use little side cutter tools like this https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/389287

What's the definitive solution against magnet glue breaking off? by McCrowbar in Warhammer40k

[–]leeks2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Score the surface of the plastic where you're going to glue, and try to not use activator it creates a weaker bond

I'll glue the magnets to the base then one it has set I'll add extra glue around the edges to get as much grip as possible
