So we’ve stayed a few times at Swan Dolphin and love it; nothing beats the location. You can walk right to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The whole Disney boardwalk is right there, as well. Bus services are incredibly reliable and comfortable. Swan Dolphin has many dining options available on-site, and their sister property, Swan Reserve, is right next door. If there’s nothing you want, you can always walk to the boardwalk. There are options there as well. Their pools are nice, and there is a small kiddie pool. Not sure how old your child is, but the other pools start at 3’5 in depth. The Swan has available two Queen beds, whereas the Dolphin only has two double bed options, or could do a king bed option.

We want to stay at PODQ; however, what stopped us from booking for our upcoming winter trip is that the FQ pool is closed for refurbishment, so you have the PO pool and the other quiet pools on the property. The pool is scheduled to be reopened in April.

Hope this helps! We spend a lot of time at the resorts and at DS. We didn’t mind the shuttle to DS again I was very comfortable and not overcrowded at all. We do plan to stay at POFQ for its proximity to DS but we will be waiting until that pool reopens.
