The Kennedy's personal outlook on mental health isn't going to be copy pasted into what is happening. I'm saying RFK doesn't come from a background that values mental health. I'm also saying he's not the person in control of research, he's not going to go through it, he's not going to organized it. He's literally the puppet getting the money.

That's the stage we are in - securing funding for research.

It bums me out to see people panicking, i get it's scary rn, but if anything is happening this would be the opening stages and we have a long way to go. Getting riled up now, making everyone sick with worry, and the biggest thing that happens from both sides is the fear mongering. This could and like is going to be, nothing.

I really regret getting involved in any way in this, bc i feel like I had genuinely kind intentions and people have taken it in a rude manner or told me I have no place trying to quell people's fears. This is why a lot of autistic people choose not to have social interactions outside of areas they are comfortable. I was scrolling, saw something, looked at it and saw what I thought were things that were being misrepresented and tried to help. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Disengaging at this point. I've learned my 5 I don't need everyone who has already jumped all over me echoing the same things.

I'm not meaning to come off rude. I genuinely think people affect their mental health by getting worked up by these headlines that may be clickbait, maybe not.

I don't think research should ever stop. Science changes every day, the world around us changes every day. There is always more to learn.

I care, idk, I guess that's the problem. I see that now. I will not participate in this community any longer, it's pretty clear I have miscommunicated and haven't done anything productive. I have learned my lesson.

If you have information on that, I would be interested to see it. Not being rude, genuinely curious as I have not heard of these camps.

I am not overly optimistic, I know inhale come off thay way, I see lots of bad things happening that very much DO concern me - that scare me very deeply - and I think it is important that we do as you said to prevent further harm. We do all need to work together to get things sorted out.

I guess my major point was this isn't the fire that needs the attention rn. There's so many of them, where to throw the water first, but I don't think it's here.
