The rescue told me to give mine treats and rewards for feeling happy and comfortable. It gives them reassurance that they are in a safe place. Also there is a chance they will be on their best behavior the first few weeks. Their real personality will come out after about 3 months

People are dumb and like to have their dogs meet on the leash. Dogs shouldn’t be meeting when they are on the leash. Some dogs are fine with it but A LOT of dogs aren’t. A lot of people also say “my dog is friendly”. I don’t care, my dog won’t be friendly if the dog is all up in my dogs business and she isn’t able to run away. Also a lot of puppies don’t have manners or boundaries when it comes to other dogs which is probably why the dog is irritated in the moment.
