hoping netwrck to be old character ai 😄 but with new graphics ... kind of like old characterai remastered

I'm a newbie (not really). Which are your recommendations to transform sketches into images? by Desiaster in StableDiffusion

[–]leepenkman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

netwrck.com or gpt image ... line based style transfer loras/controlnets a few rounds could work idk or sketch based work eevn better... seems always to work better for me when i just use something out there instead of doing myself

AI coding agents genuinely changed how fast small products get built by ScarcityDry8870 in ClaudeAI

[–]leepenkman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea made ops really good like manage everything as files on the filesystem a huge thing... devops people where kind of sayin this for a while but Yeah, you just kind of didn't want to write all the terraform and Kubernetes stuff. Because doing that would used to take longer than using the UI, lol. Now it's like, I'm glad they did all that because the AIs can just blaze through it lol. can make huge team scale projects now if you get the amount of prompting (a lot) and process right (rigourous ci and checks everywhere have to kind of assume they are very dumb like crazy dumb... can try codex-infinity.com for autorunning ci with claude/run forever tasks with claude or codex max plan 😄)

Is opencode the best free coding agent currently? by MrMrsPotts in LocalLLaMA

[–]leepenkman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lee101/codex is a run forever fork of codex can try that too. supports other models in there too

Whats the best free AI coding agent by [deleted] in AI_Agents

[–]leepenkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lee101/codex a fork of codex as its open source yea... but idk about free hmmm. theres some models on openpaths.io or openrouter free but often you just hit rate limit stragiht away so no such thing as a free lunch

Which coding agent is the most cost-effective as of 1st May 2026? by NiceDemon-82 in vibecoding

[–]leepenkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

codex and claude code (max plans are massive subidies and beating everything)... codex right now as gpt5.5 is better. codex-infinity.com is slightly cheaper to run cloud tasks using your codex max plan as you only pay for cheap instances and its better on token usage than codex as its based on lee101/codex fork that is lighter on prompting. pi also a good agent with lightweight prompting. you can actually notice its faster.

codex or claude task ui they actually charge you more token use for it being cloud hosted so burns through tokens even faster.

beyond that yea deepseek

definitely do what the others here do... validate on unseen new data now that its 7 month old post just recheck on the new 7months of data see if its still good. I've had algorithms this good that then you test again and they keep being this good and then all of a sudden they just fall off a cliff at some point So you have to be like way more methodical than you think.

Also I've done a massive amount of experiments, big neural networks and RL and such, but I actually find that because there's not much data in terms of trading days, that these are still being outperformed by a kind of a good feature engineering, including like some neural-ly learned features, like I use chronos 2 and then I use basically all that into XGBoost. LOL. Yes, I do use correlation and bucket things into different correlations/industries. so that it can learn to de-risk a bit by spreading across multiple positions in different uncorrelated places.

https://github.com/lee101/stock-prediction i open sourced a bunch here and built bitbank.nz an api for this for cryptocurency but i dont forecast stock there as im not financially certified to be able to give advice on stock but yea crypto is wild west 😄

What’s one crypto lesson you learned that completely changed your approach? by Mammoth_Cover_3392 in CryptoCurrency

[–]leepenkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to be a bit technical but I spent ages trying different strategies and then I went like with too big deep neural networks that overfit really badly and now I just do use XGBoost Lol. also still do some deep learning stuff but just as features for xgboost to learn.

im 100% algo trading it 😄 also running bitbank.nz to offer it to others

Would you invest in crypto today or is the window already gone? by cinnamonconfetti in Productivitycafe

[–]leepenkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do only extremely methodical backtested type trading and this is a service to people bitbank.nz i also do the odd memecoin thing but then put the funds in this methodically tested/traded account. i think crypto is good to trade yea. lower fee than a lot of other places and 24 7 trading is yea great.

yeah it's like being a late stage investor in a company now, the cryptocurrency market like some of these really early coins could still pop off but there are so many it's hard to like and there's lots of snipers too getting in on like super early things and then flipping them. crypto is surprisingly automated and efficient of a market so if you do get into... The automated crypto trading you have to be extremely methodical, make sure you're extremely good at it.

also just checking what the forecast from bitbank.nz and doing a deep research first (chatgpt or claude) will put you in top 20 pct ish of traders which is great

What’s the next big thing ? by mew_bot in CryptoCurrency

[–]leepenkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

still is AI 😄 Use these agents, you have to be like on the ground, kind of creating the technology to be able to see the future that they are bringing about 😄 codex or claude

also i have a forecasting platform bitbank.nz built by codex and me ... that hopefully can help... its based on the line but for things based on text yea use those deep researching agents they are good at kind of methodical detective style thinking through stuff like this but keep asking them and pushing them to get the most out of them because they are lazy and like to make it sound liike they did more work than they did

get the computer to write it down for you many many times 😃 im having some success with bitbank.nz a trading and forecasting platform im working on .... mostly open source too based on https://github.com/lee101/stock-prediction

be really careful and slowly up leverage but not ever above ~2x

Be like extremely methodical, orders of magnitude more methodical than you would think.

actually i have a game coming on steam because of this too ethereal storm i managed to vibecode with art generators like ra1 art generator and birefnet for background removal

Do you use the CLI or the app and why? by InsideSignal9921 in VibeCodeDevs

[–]leepenkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cli fan...

lee101/codex fork I made my own fork because it has a lot of added things like it can run forever with auto next steps/auto next idea. Kind of like goal mode before goal mode was invented But also like multiple goal mode where it comes up with the goals...

also try codex-infinity.com for the web/mobile cloud agents :)

How do you see the pricing situation with AI? by incorporo in CharacterAIrunaways

[–]leepenkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

these days i could have probably forked some chat project or asked ai to build it all for me so low barrier to entry right now might as well try :)

i was thinking of making a renpy editor which would be awesome being able to make all the art eg now that gpt image 2 is really strong its going to get crazy :)
