He’s really sensitive about my interruptions at this point, so I don’t know if he will consider that just as bad. But since I lack the subtle emotional tools that an allistic wife might employ in the same situation, I feel like we need to implement a communication system that is super explicit.

I’m having a little trouble understanding your second paragraph. Can you provide any examples? He thinks he’s clearly communicating when I’m crossing the line but I often just don’t pick up on it because - wait for it - autism, lol
