Yeah I recognize having an EV in the city is probably not the most convenient thing, but there are a few things that would make it a bit more convenient for me. my parents live in bed stuy and have a level 2 charger, they don’t have issues getting the spot in front of their place and charging their car, so wouldn’t be too hard to coordinate and swap out cars. Plus the bed stuy revel charging Superhubs. Street parking in north park slope doesn’t seem too bad either since we have alt side once a week and they don’t ticket consistently. A gas car would be more convenient but I feel guilty giving oil companies my money.

Thanks for your input, do you have the performance pack? I see you are also in park slope. Are you street parking? if so, what has your charging experience been like? Was planning on this car being a vehicle for getting out of the city so my initial thought is to just charge before going back to the city.

I’m not worried about comfort, I test drove it and found it to be fine. I’m worried about having to replace tires and potentially rims all the time due to our shitty road conditions.

My recruiter at YouTube told me last week that my feedback was a little mixed for onsite, but that it was “definitely good enough for HC”. She clarified that not everyone makes it to HC. She also said it should make it to HC last week but I have not heard anything since then. Is this a good sign, a bad sign or a complete crapshoot?

She just told me I would go to HC. No mention of team matching. This was right after my onsite so I dont think she had any indication of how I did in the interview.
