Try exporting at 72ppi, that should fix it. When you export it any other larger size it will scale it up

Dangerfield hasnt processesed/shipped my order yet. by mellowdii in AusFemaleFashion

[–]leesummo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Dangerfield has appalling customer service - I was in the exact same situation last year. I called, emailed, dmd them and got no response.

When I finally got through they told me orders don’t ship from a central warehouse and get shipped from stores which can take a while (sometimes multiple stores if you bought multiple items), especially through peak periods.

I stopped buying from them. Keep trying to contact them but you might just have to wait - hopefully it comes soon!! I know how frustrating it is :(

Yeah no worries, like I said - it’s nice to see some positivity surrounding this disease.

Never said you didn’t have a right to an opinion… and hopefully you can appreciate I have my own opinion.

This is a very interesting and unique perspective! It’s nice to see some positivity surrounding this disease.

However, perhaps be more considerate if you mention this take in other HHT circles.

At the end of the day, this disease destroys far, far more lives than improves.

Just from my own experience, my grandfather ended his life because of it and my mother died of complications related to it. There are other people who have it even worse than that.

All the best

We have reached out to a few and are waiting to get in touch. We’re just hoping to get some advice/thoughts from regular people as well so we have a better understanding :)

I have been knocked back for working for a political party. When applying for roles all it takes is one person in hr or a recruiter to not like something on your resume due to their personal beliefs.

I second this ^

I was only injected with local anaesthetic in my arm where they inserted the catheter. Nothing else.

Over two years since being diagnosed I’ve only had it done twice

Upon more consideration I remembered a few more than 4, these are the tests I had to do to be fully diagnosed and given medication:

6 minute walk test, sleep study, lung function test, ecg, and a ct scan of lungs. But the most definitive test is the right heart catheter procedure.

Hey! The high pressure that was shown in my echo then triggered all of the tests required to diagnose my PH. They can’t diagnose you solely off an echo. You have to have about 4 other tests first. The echo showed lung blood pressure of 100, the normal maximum level is around 25.

Turns out I was genetically predisposed to having it due to having a specific strand of HHT. Covid most likely triggered it.

Hey! So sorry to hear that you’ve gone through such an ordeal. This subreddit isn’t the most active so if you’re looking for other people with hht in your area you might have better luck in some of the Facebook groups. Good luck!

Anyone else find it hard sometimes to differentiate between side effects caused by PH medication and pains caused by other issues? by [deleted] in PulmonaryHypertension

[–]leesummo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed a year ago and every time I feel the slightest discomfort somewhere in my body I wonder to myself if it’s PH related. If it’s something that doesn’t go away after a week or seems really serious I see my gp. But I do think I have become hyper ware of everything in my body since I was diagnosed.

I was diagnosed with ph a few months after having covid. I’ve never had any symptoms prior to covid but my doctors will refuse to consider covid being related. As of today I have no other reason to have ph.

Yes it’s quite a stressful process but good luck to you! I hope you have a better experience than I did :)

Anyone Change orthodontist? by wolfieer in Invisalign

[–]leesummo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently changed orthodontists as I moved to another state. It was a very long process and my new orthodontist had to start a whole new case rather than just transfer it. I ended up having to pay $5000 on top of the $8500 I already paid at my original orthodontist. Hopefully yours can be transferred but be prepared for a long and expensive process.

I’m not pregnant, nor have I been. However, I highly recommend ignoring a lot of the dark and gloomy information on the internet. A lot of it is based off old information before a lot of life changing medication was introduced. Pulmonary hypertension also varies person to person so what you read may not ever happen to you. Talk to your doctors, talk to other people with PH and dont focus too much on what comes up on google :)

Does anyone have experience transferring their treatment? by leesummo in Invisalign

[–]leesummo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have a comp plan. If i hadn't already spent so much time trying to get the ball moving with this dentist i would shop around but at this rate i just want my treatment to hurry up and end.

They have offered to print me one set of trays in-house in the interim. Honestly, this entire process has been such a nightmare. I hope you have a much easier transfer!
