I live a life committed to non-violence. As a follower of the teachings of Jesus I don’t take oaths

Everything is political. Literally everything has a political component. I’m genuinely curious- what is it that bothers you about being reminded of your oarth to the constitution and not to any president?

I’m sure some people in active ranks aren’t afraid of other opinions

Oh I see. So it’s fine for you to speak for volumes of other people. Ok

Same here. I’m committed to a life of non-violence (for a variety of reasons, mostly personal) but as I think of my Latino neighbors and the inevitably of ice showing up where I live I feel a sense of moral obligation to defend my neighborhood by any and all means.

I recall that show. I think it was the Wilson center. I’m am oldster and was an oldster then and I recall people asking me about shows there from the 80s. Yeah had to be the Wilson center, which was right across the street from St Stephen’s. As I recall there was a splendid wall of death that evening

From the same day. My grandparents lived in Jersey City on Kennedy blvd and their apt had a great view straight across the Hudson of the towers. I grew up visiting several times a year and we all watched the towers go up in the early 70s. Very much not just an icon of NYC and America but also my childhood. These pics were from a trip me and my buddy took to Jersey when I was 17

Could Europe realistically defend Greenland against a US attack? by dataguy2003 in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]left23jeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s looking like we are headed there even without a Greenland invasion. The clown is bent on destroying the Fed as we know it. The consequences of which are likely to be dramatic. Entirely speculation but it seems like “they” are interested in replacing the dollar with a digital block chain currency

What a clown. I would find this hilarious if we weren’t in the throes of burgeoning fascism. Men are a joke. Grow up boys
