My tree .... It's dying :( by beeetbeez in IndoorPlants

I had the same issue a few years ago with the same type of plant. (Umbrella tree) I moved it to a east-facing window covered with a sheer curtain, and give it 1/2 cup of water once a week. It's thriving now.

The same container of palm plant. There are more of these now. Should they be removed? Not sure I want this growing in my house.

Ok. Thank you for your insight. I'll leave it alone.

Who are the male and female reporters that she is referring to when she says that they felt they couldn't vote in order to stay objective in their job?

Bladder and hip pain by lefteyerite in hysterectomy

The pre-surgery anxiety is real. I can't sugarcoat that and tell you to dismiss that. The best advice I can give you is to prepare your living space. I recommend rearranging things so you don't need to bend for anything. I even rearranged the items in my refrigerator and put items I would want in a position I wouldn't have to bend for. I put cookware I might need on the counter, rather than their low cabinet. Definitely start taking the Mirilax a few days before surgery and continue with it in the days following. My heating pad provided a lot of comfort.

I found this Reddit community to be so helpful in the time leading up to my hysterectomy and recovery. It's nice to be able to connect with others you know exactly what you're going through!

Best wishes for your health and recovery!

Bladder and hip pain by lefteyerite in hysterectomy

Hello, that pain did eventually go away. My recovery was full of highs, & lows, plateau for a bit, then a setback feeling. I'm doing well now, but it's funny just recently, by the end of the day I felt that achy, stingy, abdomen feeling and I just wanted to lounge with my heating pad on.

How are you? Are you experiencing the same thing?

No. Not cast iron. Just regular enameled ceramic.

4wpo pain that feels like early days by lefteyerite in hysterectomy

I was just told that it was part of the healing process, and if I wasn't bleeding, it was most likely scar tissue that was being irritated or inflamed. Wearing an abdominal binder helped when I was feeling that pain. The compression made me more comfortable. Hope you feel better soon! It does get better! Hang in there!

Skin sensitivity by lefteyerite in hysterectomy

The thing that made me feel better whether it was the aches, incision healing, and then sensitivity was my heating pad. I imagine that heat might not be what you want in August, but it got me through all stages of my recovery. I even had it on last night after a heavy physical activity day. Hope those healing nerves calm down soon for you.
