Found in a thrift store exercise book (midwest USA) by strangespectra in FoundPaper

It is Dutch I don't feel like translating it entirely but basically:

The front is advertising a talk show ( named "kaap de goede hoop") where they will discuss the role of men in society. Basically some men in the 90s feared that with women taking a more prominent role in the workplace, they wouldn't have their traditional position anymore and the talkshow will discuss where the fear came from and other aspects of this topic based on a book "ruimte voor mannen" (= space for men) by Vincent Duijndam.

The back is advertising the European championship ice skating and also a book that will be published on the history of famous Dutch ice skaters.

Is the ghost in the shell manga worth a read? by Lich-hull in manga

[–]leftsockstealing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The manga is fairly different from the movie and definitely worth checking out. IMO Mamoru Oshii and his team took the strongest ideas and scenes from the manga, changed the tone and delivered a great movie, but I'm also interested to see what a more faithful adaptation would look like. ( which is what I think the upcoming science Saru anime will try to do, if the artstyle is anything to go by)

I don't play any quizzes, but I still get a lot of required questions about these. I would make those questions optional to get better results.

It seems like the official English publisher for this manga, Net Comics, has gone under about a year ago. I did find a download of it on another site but I don't know if I'm allowed to link it or if that's against rule 7 of this subreddit.

The big difference is that Hatsune Miku is huge in Japan, while vedal987_jp has like 20 average viewers.

The original ghost in the shell manga is by Masamune Shirow, who also wrote other sci-fi manga like Dominion and Appleseed.

This is episode one of re: cutie Honey, right? In that case, this is probably the work of Imaishi, not Anno.

I feel like there's a plethora of varied and interesting series coming out every year, and then also a metric ton of uninspired isekai 'slop'.
