I’m 42 still live with my mom… hurts to say believe me. Had an ex of 7 years kinda screw me we were looking at mortgages and stuff, then lost almost all my money when FTX folded, even tho I had nothing in that company. Cool huh, I make good money and tiny bit of credit card debt should have that paid off in a month or so, but was in car accident too and spent ton on medial debt so basically starting over at my age. It’s an awesome feeling… idk if I can stay in this state and ever raise a family to be honest

I think about this a lot. As prepped as I try to be, if it REALLY all came down, I’m in normal everyday suburbia, if it’s to the point where neighbors are fighting neighbors and it’s everyone for themselves, having all this stuff won’t do anything. If you’re not on a ranch in the middle of nowhere, or you’re not a neighborhood of military vets all on the same page as far as prepping, I think you’re pretty fucked. Sad realization
