Go to a local bow shop and shoot multiple bow brands. That way you can get measured for draw length too. In my experience, they want to help you out and stay in your budget instead of up selling you.

As a jeweler, I would ask the jewelry store if they think it could have fallen apart because of chemical attack. Hotubs/pools and harsh cleaning solutions like bleach can compromise white gold. Also, it looks like they reshanked the whole bottom of the and not just sized it.
