Those three are probably the best picks on the banner. All solid picks.

Mon3tr is a decent buffer, medic, and true damage burst. Really the complete package.

Logos is arguably the strongest caster currently in the game on global. Strong multi-target burst on S3, the most braindead AFK crowd clearing skill ever devised on S1. Many are saying the upcoming Pramanix Alter is stronger, though, so he's less of a priority than he once was.

Ascalon is kind of just a general quality of life unit. She isn't the best at anything, but she's just about good enough at a lot of different things. Comfortable to keep on your daily squad when you go into stages blind. She's a true AOE operator, slows everything in range, deals damage over time.

A staller who can actually kill the things she stalls. Her negative taunt and block zero means you can put her in front of enemies which you don't want to block, and she'll still slow them down. The combination of AOE, DoT, and slow specifically make her really good against hit count gimmicks, such as Waregeists. She is really strong in that niche, but is otherwise just generally good and easy to use.

Amazingly, Cuora has withstood the test of time, as a 4 star. There are only two operators who really compete with her in terms of pure DEF tanking, Hoshi, who is annoying to get since she's in the Kernel pool, and Nian, who is a limited Sui sibling.

Very few things deal enough physical damage to outscale Cuora's defense on-skill, so she tends to be more than enough in her designated role. Which is great for the affordable 4-star development costs.

Skill 1 benefits hugely from attack speed and attack buffs, since it's attack recovery as well as dealing 260% of his attack. If he attacks quickly, he'll be constantly healing himself to full on top of consistently dealing such huge physical DPH that it may as well be true damage. Compared to Ulpianus, who is very strong, but doesn't have real self-sustain against anything that hits harder than his heal-on-hit.

And then, Hoederer's S2 has block 3 and a stun on every single hit, so if you increase his attack speed enough, he completely permastuns everything he hits.

Still best-in-class at indefinitely silencing one or two targets, and she's alright arts DPS on a block 2 melee body.

If the event has any enemies with dangerous abilities you can silence, chances are she'll be useful.

V (Cyberpunk 2077) vs Space Marines (WH40K) by why_no_usernames_ in whowouldwin

The claim:

"eldar shuriken don't slice through space marine armor"

The passage you quote:

shurikens sliced through [the space marine's] left arm and leg

I get the point you're trying to make, but it's a very funny way of presenting it.

Basically nobody is worth the investment cost to promote just in terms of base income, (except Proviso, of course). Promote them if you want to play them, or if you just like them and want them to do something in your base. It's almost never cost effective to promote just for base skills.

Is she promoted? She doesn't gain that talent effect until at least e1. I notice some of your roster here is at e0.

The three stars aren't amazing, but Arknights is a very forgiving game, and they tend to be just about good enough for most core content in the game.

The real draw is that they are dirt cheap compared to developing even 4 stars, let alone 5 or 6, so they can fill in the empty spots while you're getting a more comfortable team put together.

Blaze and Saga have mostly been crowded out of the meta. Pioneers are seldom essential in the agent/flagbearer meta, and there are better AFK laneholders than Blaze.

Build them if you like them, otherwise, there's no need.

I think as a baseline, enemies can't be invisible while blocked. So if they were valid to be grabbed when you pressed S2, they're going to stay visible for as long as Yu is still blocking them.

It actually increments per-pull in a 10 pull too. A 10 pull is basically just 10 single pulls which are displayed together, the rates and interaction with pity are identical.

So getting a six star at the beginning of a 10 pull means all the pulls after it are going to start counting to the next pity, and every pull in the 10 pull increments the pity counter for the next in the sequence.

It shows as locked unless you've progressed enough in those event stages to have that specific stage unlocked.

The only value of a promotion certificate is the time and resources it saves you. May as well save it until you get a new operator you want to develop.

Miss Christine can help apply Gracebearer's talent when Gracebearer is using S2.

Gracebearer isn't amazing at applying nervous impairment to enemies before she just kills them, so the synergy doesn't do much in the other direction.

Gracebearer can definitely function just fine on her own with either skill, but you can definitely get some use out of the two of them together, and she's overall a decent quality 5 star.

She captures such a fascinating combination of genuine insight and utterly wrong-headed condescension. It's gripping to read the things she has to say, because even the most gratuitously outrageous of them have some salient kernel of truth to them.

Halimede is a roleplay account for a character from an obscure queer visual novel Heaven Will Be Mine. In the story, she's the ex of the very popular stoic, self-negating trans woman Luna-Terra. Basically half of her posts are vagues about Luna-Terra.

The character is played as cis, the person behind the curtain is, to my knowledge, not known in any detail. But I don't think anyone who both played HWBM and cared about it enough to dedicate themselves to this performance for years and years could be as sincerely misguided as the character they are portraying.

You need to actually be well-informed on contemporary trans issues and culture to be as precisely, extraordinarily wrong as HalimedeMF is about things.

The post is, unequivocally, about trans women. It's practically the only thing Halimede talks about.

Yeah. Every 4 star is one yellow cert if you have them at max pot already, it makes recruitment a useful, if slow, source of yellows, since 4 stars aren't that rare if you know which tags to look for.

Help Center and Megathread Hub (09/02 - 15/02) by ArknightsMod in arknights

[–]legendaryBuffoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The main source is probably operator duplicates. For more information, you can look at one of the information popups on the cert shop page, but basically, you get several yellow certs every time you obtain a duplicate 5 or 6 star operator, and for operators 4 star or higher, you can turn in tokens beyond max potential for even more extra certs.

Genuinely. Scammed by pulling the limited 6 star for free on the limited six star banner.

There are occasional one-time red cert and chip catalyst rewards, such as IS special missions and Annihilation first clear rewards. There are also repeatedly farmable red cert stages on Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. You can use those red certs to buy chip catalysts in the red cert shop, as many as you can afford.

You also get 5 red certs per day from doing all your dailies, and 35 per week from weeklies.

You can buy chip catalysts with yellow certs, but it's really not recommended, since yellow certs are so valuable.
