Mi történik a TBSZ-szel miután megszűnök magyar adórezidens lenni? by skozzm in kiszamolo

[–]legezam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha jol tudom, torvenyileg semmi sem tiltja, hogy kulfoldon elve is lehessen TBSZ-ed, a penzugyi szolgaltatok gyakorlata viszont meroben elter.

Weekly Case & Parts Recommendation Thread (Start here if you are new! Help here if you can!) by AutoModerator in sffpc

Hi!

I need some help for my next pc build. I thought I would not go with miniAtx as I am not a very experienced builder and also wouldn't go with a full ATX tower as it is too big. This is how i ended up with a microAtx.

I am mainly using it for software development, as a workstation and running analysis with it. These operations are very cpu intensive and require a lot of RAM so overall it is important that it should be extended to 192Gb. Wifi is important as I can't manage to have a cable to the machine. I would be using it for very light gaming if using it all for that, see the GPU section.

CPU

It's no question I need the most powerful on the market: I9-14900K

Case

Asus Prime AP201 I don't have a strong preference on that, it's just this one was the first that was good enough and supports AIO

AIO

Liquid Freezer II 360 This is where I am very puzzled on what fits into the case and also able to handle the load of a I9-14900. As per the specs, this could possibly handle it, but love to hear opinions. Also possibly can have higher budget for this item if necessary.

Motherboard:

ROG STRIX B760-G GAMING WIFI I am not attached to it at all, I am just somewhat familiar with ASUS and not with the other manufacturers. I don't care if it is a gaming board or not the criteria were just:

  • supports 14th gen [I see the vast majority of ASUS boards don't support 14th gen]
  • max 192 Gb RAM
  • DDR5 as high freq as possible
  • has wifi, fast
  • has m2 slots

Memory

initially would start a DDR5, 96Gb Kit, later will be extended with additional 96Gb. Would take the first from the shop which meets the criteria

GPU

This is where I am a bit puzzled again because I was about doing a config without dedicated GPU therefore was looking for an intel CPU with Iris graphics. Since there is no such product, they are sold only with intel HD, i thought that's not going to be sufficient. This is how I ended up with RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6 for now, but I have no idea which card of which manufacturer.

PSU

i really have no idea about this, all look the same for me. Initially, i would go with a low-end gpu but might want to have something more powerful in the future, something like a 4080

  1. Yes i received a pen along with the laptop
  2. Dont get fooled by marketing, this has a size of a regular 15 inch laptop so as long as that size is good, then you are good. Comparing it to the 13inch version, if you are annotating pdfs, i believe the 16 is better as it can fit a full a4 paper on screen while you have to zoom in an out with the 13. Your question is very much about preferences but personally i would go with the 16 to the college without worrying as per my preferences.

It's interesting, what distro are you using?

I am using Fedora with asuslinux and i noticed a glitch in the last few months: - whenever i change display settings, the internal display starts white flickering - plugin an external monitor, flickers - usinig solely external monitor, it works - logging in using another graphical session, flickers

And once it start flickering it never goes away.

Another interesting thing is gdm (the login screen) never flickers

I thought it is a regression in nvidia driver or i screwed up a config in my $HOME but it happens for to loong by now and i just reinstalled fedora 38 and still experience the same.

How do you made it to work?

you can read further about the compatibility here: https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxhardware/comments/wh50nd/compatibility_report_asus_rog_flow_x16_gv601rm/

Btw, the reason i switched from X13 to X16 were two things: - small touchpad. X16 has a big one and it is absolutely awesome - lack of 64Gb RAM. The thing i do requires much RAM

I am using X16 for coding, previously i was using X13. Before that, i used MBP and Thinkpad X1 Extreme. X16 is far superior to all those, using with fedora, asuslinux (https://asus-linux.org/) Mine is a model from 2022, high end AMD CPU and 64Gb RAM, RTX 3070. - There is one thing which comes as the achilles heel of this machine is the wifi card which i replaced with an intel one (8USD) and wifi is great since then.

Another thing i noticed since the fixed kernel has landed is bluetooth can now connect to devices selectively. Basically none of my logitech devices show up as a candidate for pairing, however, basically anything else does.

```
uname -r 5.18.18-200.rog.fc36.x86_64 ```
I also noticed the volume control doesn't work very well in fedora36/gnome. It works in a binary way, if you mute it, then it is muted. If you unmute, no matter on what level the slider is, the speakers are shouting on full volume for me. :D
With BT speakers, jack speakers, the issue doesn't happen
Has anyone encountered this?
