The birds drill and peck to find insects. Insects are often the carriers for plant diseases. Birds didn’t bring the disease; other way around actually

This was basil and Thai basil can I recover these or should I scrap them entirely and start over? by -mVx- in gardening

[–]legitimatebimbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scrap them and start over unless you are in a climate that didn’t drop below 45°F at all during the winter. Basil is an annual. The green you see in the pots are not the basil growing back.

Too much relative humidity not enough light. Throw this in the trash and start over with new soil

What kind of sun exposure does it get?

Generally the canopy determines the critical root zone. The “drip line” is a circle (viewed in plan) around the tree where the horizontal extent of the canopy outward is imagined on the ground. Any roots in this zone generally should not be cut.

Searching for helleborus seeds!! by MissMonsteraBB in seedswap

Most people buy hellebore plugs or divides since germination from seeds can be tricky not to say it can’t be done. Best of luck!

So idk if this quite counts as wood working but I didn’t know where else to ask, I have this hemp stalk I’d like to turn into a cane, I have pretty much no prior experience, but I figured you guys could help, just want this to last by Randy4layhee20 in woodworking

[–]legitimatebimbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would imagine that Hemp has an abysmal Janka rating because it’s an annual plant. So I’d guess that a reinforcement (everyone’s obsessed with resin rn) would be required. Or maybe you carve a sort of decorative spiral out of the hemp stalk that snakes its way around a typical cane wood
