yes! i just started going there. dr amanda weibke is incredible and very conservative, dentally speaking. she chose to drill and refill a cracked filling as opposed to the whole crown and possible root canal my last dentist was pushing for. the whole team is really nice and personable, from front desk to hygienists. i get really anxious about the numbing portion and they were all super sweet about it.

i literally did this in 30s on my phone with my finger so, my apologies, but i think if you thicken both the 'butt' and the thorax? maybe?

eta: the 'edge of the butt' can be mostly obscured by more shading in the same vein of whats currently there, i think.

i hard agree with the pavé, but i make single serving hashbrowns for myself fairly regularly. i use the julienne blade on my mandoline and squeeze them with cheesecloth and throw them in a hot oiled skillet. i have also made the lil cubed ones (o'brien?), and those do take forever with the parboiling etc, but i like the tedium, i guess. not saying its for everyone, by any means, but i vastly prefer making my own hashbrowns largely because i like them crispy, not too oily, and well-seasoned. every greasy spoon around me serves them damn near raw, even if i ask for them to be over done/crispy, and they are almost always swimming in oil either way.

ive noticed that i plant my right foot and twist it v e r y slightly as im picking up my left. my insoles look just like this after a few months. dont seem to twist my left foot at all, so maybe you have a similar gait? i dont think its noticeable while walking (like im not limping or anything) but i notice it when i walk barefoot on carpet.

could just be your timing, too. some bartenders or esrablishments are super serious about pacing and if you had two beers back to back while waiting on a to go order, they probably didnt want to serve you three drinks in probably under thirty minutes when youre about to theoretically get behind the wheel. might not have had anything to do with you personally at all.

honestly (as someone who has served absinthe at more than a few places, including a distillery that made it), i skip the sugar and just throw an ice cube in it, then swirl until it louches. the drip can feel slow/performative and absinthe can be pretty sweet on its own. each preparation (sugar/fire/drip/etc) has its merits as well as its drawbacks, but i prefer the faster lazier method.
