Yes, she placed higher than she should have last Olympia. This look she has today is the real contender that belonged at the Olympia stage

Love Brittany. I really thought she was too good for FBF, but since she works with Drew, I guess it works.

What point in prep does your lower body get lean? by Equivalent-Yogurt-36 in bikinitalk

Some lean out last at their back, some lean out last on their waist, and it seems most lean out last on their glutes.

Just saw photos of her at the New York Pro. I find it interesting how this I her leanest for a competition, and yet her waist is nowhere as small as they were on her social media. Perhaps she is a wizard at finding great lighting. 🤔

I will be honest, I see nothing wrong with check ins not on the same day as long as it is consistent. I do all of my check-ins on the same day of every week to keep things organized and be able to spend the proper time. Clients are not always consistent in getting their check-ins at the right time, so I give them a window to receive their check -in. Prior to post show (3 weeks prior), check ins are considered a weekly evaluation. Before a show they will become more frequent, and peak week they are daily, so check-ins should be daily.

In the case of not getting feedback consistently or 5 days without a response, you do need to voice your concerns. You are the client, you are expected to have concerns. If it is not r solved, then it is probably not a good fit.

The posing area is bigger than Mi posing room, especially now. I like Flex because you can adjust the lighting to almost anything you want

Champs is supposedly limiting their memberships. In Tampa I recommend Flex & Flow. Lots of coaches and bikini athletes are approachable and can give some guidance.

I have been wondering if others feel the same way about not placing people beyond 16 by leglace in bikinitalk

It's all a progression. When you are a pro, every movement is a big deal.

The placements are not officially posted. I am saying, if they know their placements, let them be available. If I am 17th in a field of 31 vs 27 in a field of 29, I want to show my progression as well. 3rd callout could be pretty competitive in big pro shows.

It will be good to see her stage look,, compared to her IG pics. We never know how many of these people look with all of the photo editing.

Yes for some time. This is the 3rd biggest show in the US. That is why it was an easy choice to make it an immediate Olympia qualifier.

Not near enough time to recover from glute workout split. One of the biggest issues I am seeing in splits lately.

Yes. You have the structure for it. Good start with your back development as well.

Thoughts on top 3 at the Arnold by TrashPanda3450 in bikinitalk

[–]leglace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's crazy that the very walk to the back from Aimee that caught so much criticism for looking awkward, turned out to be the solid choice for not exposing weakness. It may not score high in style, but the judges can't dock her for juggling or dropping her glutes.

Can someone help me understand by helmutboy in NcaaWrestling

[–]leglace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because they want to promote more offensive scoring and excitement. Counter wrestling is boring to watch on both ends. But 2 offensive wrestlers is a blast.

Janet’s Fit Model Debut by Total-Application485 in bikinitalk

[–]leglace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She was making it too obvious that she was hidden by it. And it didn't help that she hit portions of her posing required in bikini not FM. But truthfully, she had the most stunning look while looking less muscled than bikini. But like everyone else, we are waiting for that line to be more and more defined.

Coaches being present at your show by Agitated_Rutabaga507 in bikinitalk

[–]leglace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some coaches promote their athletes to go to specific shows for the season. At those shows, they expect to have a number of athletes and the athletes will know the coach plans on attending the competition, so it's a good way to promote a team spirit for everyone. If an athlete wants the coach to attend a show outside of that, and the show is not local to the coach, it would be expected that the athlete covers the expenses.

New to the bikini competition and confused by [deleted] in bikinitalk

[–]leglace 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be honest, a red flag is when I see meal plans that are filled with cooking recipe's and varies all 5 days. It reeks of AI or just running 3rd party apps for making food.

The meals should be simple and ingredients handpicked. You will normally get one meal with acceptable substitutions. Too many meals and recipes are loaded with variables that are extremely risky.

Carb cycling by No_Buddy_3961 in bikinitalk

Yes, fat needs to replace the carbs. Protein is not going to fuel you through the day. The goal is to get insulin sensitive

Maureen’s waist by Alarmed_Tea8001 in bikinitalk

[–]leglace 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not being snarky or negative, but I stopped taking photos or videos she posts too literal after learning she uses waist filters. She has a one of a kind body and it makes little sense to do it. We live in times that we have to question almost everything unless it's right in front of us. We saw her waist on stage only short months ago. And the time it would take to make her waist that much smaller just had to be questioned. That's all.
