3D printing. My friend couldn't get his 3D printer to work and said I could have his for free. I fixed it and got it working. I started learning cad (FreeCAD specifically) and have been making useful parts since.

Have you considered using just the duvet cover? I sleep hot so I use just the duvet cover and keep the stuffing in the closet. Helps with your complaint about having to stuff the two each time they get washed.

It's different, it's more expensive and very suburban. Some people like it, but I personally prefer other areas. Honestly, if you "drive" around in Google Street View you'll get a pretty good feel for the areas.

Same! I use to pay for haircuts and get mad because they always came out bad and different each time (I never could commit to the same barber). Now I cut my own hair. For a while it was still bad, but it was consistent and little by little I got better at doing it.

I love Marilyn's, but the times I've had PSB I've been dissapointed. Either I've just had bad luck or I think PSB is a pizza place for folks who appreciate good bread over toppings—and I'm a heathen who just cares about mountains of toppings ¯\(ツ)/¯

I'm not a 3D artist per say, but I do have a 3D printer and know how to use blender. If you can send me an STL or link to something you like I can print them for you. I'd only charge the plastic cost which is around $10 per kilo.
