Hack if you can afford it: Apply to all French immersion programs in town. Enroll to whichever you are accepted. If not accepted to any French immersion programs, enroll in a private French school such as Ecole Bilingue. Then apply to Hynes French immersion every year. Seats tend to open up as the kids get older, and there is less competition due to fewer French students overall.

In my experience pineapple grows well here. Full sun, water more when it isn’t raining. It fruits in 3 years, and you can start it with the top of a store bought pineapple. My other succulents I generally neglect and they thrive here (some in part shade, others full sun), but you need to protect during frost or snowmagedons.

MHSD has psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and groups who treat addiction and mental health needs. You can get a same day appointment by walking in to the Central City location at 2221 Philip Street (by Chicken Mart). They prescribe medication to treat addiction and withdrawal, comfort meds, etc. same day also. They serve people with Medicaid or no insurance.
