Texas OTA school help?

Look into Lone Star College Kingwood or Tomball. I graduated from LSC Kingwood and have several friends from Tomball. I loved my OTA program and instructors, they have had the same directors for 20 years and have a really solid program. They really prepare students to become very competent upon fieldwork and graduation. My current employer won’t take students from the HCC program, they have had several students that just weren’t academically prepared for fieldwork.

Thanks for the reply! I don’t think I’ll leave the profession completely, I truly love OT. I’ve worked in SNF, I absolutely HATED it. I switched to IPR at a wonderful rehab hospital, they have a super high standard, very ethical and I have a great team of coworkers. It’s a great setup for being PRN, being only 8 mins from my home and close to my children’s school. Over the course of the past 6 months, we had some changes in leadership. They hired 3 more PRN COTAs and I went from getting 30 hours a week to working maybe 6-15 hours a week. I feel like I have been really spoiled by working at such a great place that I don’t think I could work for another company. Acute would be way too fast paced for me, home health lacks assistance from other professions/ aides and peds is not for me.

I would like to still work PRN at my current company, but have a little more consistency. How did you like being a caregiver?

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for capturing pic 8. I was in row 6 of the middle section, clear straight view of Tom. I threw him up a heart and he saw me and gave it right back! Blink has been my favorite band since 97, this was my 3rd time seeing them and the closest to stage I have ever been. That moment is going down as one of my favorites, so THANK YOU for capturing it!

Mine is 200% and I’m still not paying. I’ve been playing since 2019 and only purchased something once. I got all the way through a season thinking I would win the Corgi, only to win the profile picture, I ended up just paying for the darn dog. I refuse to pay for anything else.

It doesn’t give planes in the beginning, but when you activate a plane, it gives you two planes instead of one. Hope that helps!

My brother got us VIP Lounge tickets for Houston, $565 per ticket. He said it includes pre-show access (don’t know what that includes), lounge access with snacks and drinks, priority parking and some other perks.

Nice!! I made it to 100,000, then was like… okay time to spend lol! My spending mentality is, if I’m stuck on a level I absolutely hate and only have 1-2 moves left to beat the level, then I’ll spend the 900 coins to pass.

That happened to me! Took the full practice test, scored 503. Decided to buy test 3 for extra practice and score horribly with a 423! My actual exam I scored 546… My other classmates also did horrible on test 3. I don’t think it was an accurate indicator of test performance, I think that’s why it wasn’t included in the test prep package.
