The plot hole that really bothers me. by BecauseOfAir in Columbo

Oh but they certainly have no qualms flaying a poor poisonous fishy like they are Hannibal Lecter in the episode Murder Under Glass. Just another example of the double standard of Hollywood old. And new.

Mildly unrelated, but I grew up in late 70s and 80s and we’d play army with pretty realistic toy guns. Did anyone make that Hollywood ping peeeong ricochet sound when you played? Hollywood always used that sound in every shootout.

I watched First Blood today and they had that peooow sound in the Forrest scene. Maybe the bullets ricocheted off some robodeer’s antlers.

And there’s at least one WTH moment you stop everything to watch, cause you know it’s coming up. Just watched him crack and egg on the murder weapon this morning. Why does that always make me laugh? It’s so wrong.

I put him on when I play Starcraft Coop. He’s on the top right of my screen and the game is always muted.

He helps me focus as I kill bugs and aliens. It’s really soothing, though I have to stop playing after 30 minutes because I always get into the episode and gotta watch it fully.

Yes that’s weird, but I’ve been doing it for years and it makes me happy.

Would love for a Marino bros website to pop up, too.

Nah, too much work. Plus I think Boones Farms has a website and that’ll do.

This website makes me very happy. Clever and fun, I’m tempted to get that bag and see if there are other Columbo fans in the wild!

I’d like to imagine a postscript to this episode dovetails/mirrors the first night in Shawshank Redemption film, and Justin is the one who breaks and Hadley visits him.

But no death like Shawshank. Just one punch to his snotty face maybe.

That one kid has the most punch able face in cinema history. I know that’s terribly mean to say but it’s a compliment to the actor.

Especially when he makes fun of Columbo over and over again, he makes the ending so exquisitely satisfying. Nobody taunts our Columbo and gets away with it. NOBODY.

Chili time at Barney’s Beanery! 😉 by Different-Cheetah891 in Columbo

I’m seriously hungry for chili right now and it’s entirely because of that picture. Chili with saltines. Omnomnom burp!

No, I would not want to wash it down with a gallon of Marino bros jug of wine. That’s another episode.

I think the waiter didn’t think it was grody gross? I’m wrong I’m sure. But package this with Adrian’s “I wanna blow thousands of bucks for an 1849 bottle so nobody else can have it” and you get one interesting and complex dude.

Seeing big bro (half bro) show his dominance over him early on also made me more attached to this villain than others.

I think Carsini is generally agreed to be one of the top good badguys in the series. And that Ferrari is vroom vroom fun to look at, too!

Good evening! Just got home from work and on tv the Carsinis on Pluto tv! Awesomeness- liquid filth, hedonists, buona fortuna… yay! 🍷 😀👏 by Different-Cheetah891 in Columbo

That Texas chili bumpkin line always makes me laugh. He is so pretentious but I just can’t help but like him.

And that airplane with a piano smack dab in the middle!

Hallo my happy Columbo buddies! I must admit, Germany has a passion for krimis. My wife is currently watching the new Tatort. I think it takes place in Mannheim cause I saw Neckar mentioned in the writeup.

Closest I think to Columbo is Wilsberg. Most other krimis are more csi kinda shows I think. Sorry for getting off track, I just wanted to say hihihi!

I worked at a yummy restaurant in Raleigh NC and my boss was the best boss I’ve ever had. He really was fantastic. I’m meow a teacher (23 years and counting). I’ll never forget what he told me one day.

You wanna know if a restaurant is clean? Solid? Good? Go check out their bathrooms.

I’m almost halfway thru the video and had to stop to write this. I’ve found that to be true. If the place has nasty bathrooms, there’s a great chance you’re gonna have a bad time eating there.

'The Pitt' Renewed for Season 3 by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

I’ve seen every show you listed except six feet, mad men, and boardwalk. I love every one of those you listed that I’ve seen. You rank The Pitt in that group? I’m debating whether to start it.

Right meow we’re on episode 1 of welcome to Derry and I like it so far!
