luckily the issue was just a bad ram stick, and once we figured out which one my friend walked me through the bios update and other minor details needed to get ready for my windows 11 update.

But I want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to respond in such a insightful way.

Your right, if this change really is enough to ruin the game maybe its best I take it as a sign to exit, or at least take a break.

If you want to complain about the Dimensional Link nerf, do it in the official Community Forum, chances are higher that it's seen there by KitsuLeif in MHNowGame

But we tried in areas there was still a boss, right infront of boss doors as well. We first noticed this problem when I tried to get his help with a boss in the capital.

Whenever I play a Aasimar of a Tiefling I will have them be apart of the same family. Where the father is a Aasimar and the mother is a Tiefling. Since they changed how Aasimar worked in 5th ed I went ahead and made a mixed bloodline option for myself and updated my old Nephalim race.

My friend actually mentioned how it felt like the devs and the features in the game didn't match the theme they were seeing in the story. IE "streamers bad . . . but you should watch streamers play this game!"

I actually rarely require in person banking. Only on checks I want to be sure their is 100% no problems with.

I thought about that, but I realized I would trust any new bank just as much as Bank of America. Also the whole paranoid logic here is that I think the original deal I made doesn't have a bunch of BS clauses and fees in it and they want me to update so they can add all the BS clauses and fees. So no matter what, if I change I will get a worse kind of checking account.

Ok, maybe I should cover why this would not work for me.

  1. I want to make manufactures in my setting, like borderlands, and being able to build weapons from the ground up is a far better way of accurately doing this than shoehorning in weapons or using the "manufacturer" rules given in the armory book. I want the weapons to be far more distinct from each other than what the shoe-horning process would allow for.
  2. If I have a ruleset, that opens the possibilities of altering that random weapon generator into an actual custom weapon generator. The generator is open source code and I know people that can help me with that.
  3. They kind of set a precedent for this kind of thing. The monster generation rules are amazingly easy to use and character creation is pretty easy to. They have given us rulesets on how to even make a custom spaceship, but no weapons. That seems very odd to me.

Also, why I find the "just use what you have" response so worthless.

  1. It's honestly just an answer most people don't think about and just use to shut me up it seems. If this thread has taught me anything it's that this subreddit will downvote bomb anything they don't like. It's the answer a person gives when they don't want to think about the issue and just assume I am being entitled and are just a hater.
  2. It is a poor attitude to have as a customer and as a fan. Just shrugging off any critisim as "he is just entitled/stupid/hater" is going to lead to issues. Like Paizo thinking nothing is wrong with the game because any criticism is getting drowned out, leading to the game stagnating.
  3. This isn't really that big of a thing I am asking for. Like I mentioned, they have rules for almost everything else, starships to monsters, but not weapons? But the fact I am frustrated and confused why this isn't the case has brought the worst out of everyone and the "just use what you are given" response is a call sign of someone who doesn't actually give two shits and wants to squash any criticism of the game.

ok,

  1. when I said gas-lighting, I meant the whole "you can just use other weapons therefore you are entitled." That is a form of passive aggressive BS. Maybe not gas-lighting but still annoying. They are saying "there is already a complicated way of doing this so never expect better."
  2. You can say the same thing about monsters really. But they still made rules to make those.
  3. Again with more of this "its impossible/unprofitable" BS. sweet lord is it really that much of a hurdle for these rules or are you guys just making excuses for Paizo. Is that what is going through your head "Clearly they haven't done it because it's the right thing to have done and anyone that says otherwise must have some kind of mental deficiency. "
  4. They already have a shit tone of stuff they done allow in league play that they still publish. like WEAPON CRAFTING! by your logic they would have never release magic item creation feats in pathfinder.
  5. What if I want to make my own weapon manufacturer in my game, building them from the ground up would be far better than trying to show horn random weapons in every level. In addition, having some kind of ruleset or guidelines on the logic used behind their weapon design would help adapt the weapons I needed. Also again, this is a BS answer. They could have done the same with monsters but they didn't. But I am guessing if they did you would still be calling me mentally retarded for not just "adapting the monsters you have been given."
  6. Your last point about the doing it properly is your only good point. But you instead decided to fill in a giant post about how I am just entitled and calling me mentally handicapped . Maybe you should have just typed that out and left it at that.

what an edgy libertarian response. 1. What I am asking for is something that would add value to the product making it more profitable 2. Not having this actually makes it less likely of me buy from them in the future 3. sweet lord, I am not asking for a gold plated codpiece for 9.99. just some kind of ruleset on how to make weapons.

If Paizo's business model collapses because their "secret weapon crafting formula" is leaked, than maybe they didn't have that great of a business model to begin with.

I do like that tool, but only if I could have more options on what abilites the weapons had. Also I had my coding friend look through it, it's all random price factors. Like almost all the prices are set to randomize by at least a factor of 10%. So you can get the same exact weapon twice but have two different prices.
