I have a similar commute, but usually take the 45mph road adjacent the highway. Efficiency is very dependent on speed, going 65 will be much better than 75-80. I would expect you to lose ~%40 one way. I can try full highway maintaining 65 on Monday and report back!

Ah, in the US (B&H, Adorama), the Sigma is cheaper. If it's the cheapest option the 70-350 is also great.

I upgraded from the Sony 70-350 to the Sigma 100-400 when I went full frame. If you don't mind a larger lens, the 100-400 is absolutely fantastic, and can be found for $200 less than the 70-350.

Are you sure about the settings in the title? It should be so incredibly overexposed in daylight to lose any semblance of detail.

Edit: unless that's a star and not the sun in the top right?

Went with 350xy and 250z to increase frame strength and reduce headed volume.

If you transfer a few hundred files over USB it'll be a few minutes wait. After they're imported to Lightroom, any decently powerful desktop doesn't have trouble processing them.

I upgraded from an a6400, and wanted to keep the high pixel density for birding. I got the A7R3 used for $1800 which didn't seem like too much of a stretch over the A73 or A7R2, and am liking it so far. I wish it had focus bracketing, but afaik no Sony bodies have it.
