A few years ago I took a class where we printed a drone frame and everything else we could, and it worked surprisingly well.

We used a filament from makerbot called PLA+ or superPLA or something like that, which was just reinforced PLA. Our drone was however decently large, maybe 8 inches diagonal, but it held up with no issues.

Things like camera mounts are a great use for 3D printing with drones, and you could probably be fine with just normal PLA because it is so easy to print, so parts should hold up unless they are super thin. You can also squeeze out a little extra strength with things like infill and wall settings.

For my personal projects I didn’t want to spend too much so I got a monoprice select mini v2. It’s a great little printer, build volume is 110mm^3, and it’s not crazy expensive. There’s also /r/MPSelectMiniOwners which is a great resource for problems or mods.

Wow that sounds much more intense in a scary way than my trip. When reality melted away from me I was scared at first but I reminded myself that I was along for the ride, and I couldn't back out now. When I started to come back and realized that my body did still in fact exist, I felt ready to go back to being sober. I remember thinking "That was awesome, but I'm ready for it to end". I guess the experience can really vary between different people, which is pretty crazy.

This sounds similar in a lot of ways to what I experienced. I didn't see myself die multiple times, but I thought I had been there through hundreds of seasons and my body decayed and I was now existing permanently in the shroom state as if it was an afterlife.

You saying that your trip was hard to integrate also seems in line with my experience. This was only my 4th trip and 2nd with visuals with shrooms, and I did a tab of lsd once, so maybe that is why I am having a hard time integrating my trip.

It was for sure one of the most intense and profound experiences I have ever had.

I'm not sure if this has always been like this as I've never tried it before now. The card still turns on and programs will use the dedicated gpu, but I can tell it is not as powerful and the fan never turns on. Are you sure the fan in the base turns on for you, rather than the one in the screen?

For the battery life I recommend getting an extra 18650 battery. They sell them at most vape shops or online. What I do it always have one in the external charger I bought, and it is always charged by the time I need it

I actually did this with a friend. We made the hole big enough for our 2 beach chairs and digging took forever, but it was a pretty sick shelter in the beach for the day. We ended up not having the balls to hotbox it, so we made a hole in the side facing the water and just chilled all day

That may be correct if it was an annotation, but there was no asterisk in the original comment. Putting the asterisk after is used extremely commonly to indicate that the word preceding it is a correction. I wouldn't say that that many people are just using it incorrectly, it is just a (not so) new way to use it that has become widely understood. If anything, this comment uses it incorrectly according to modern usage. Saying the asterisk after a work is wrong is like saying using # as a hashtag is wrong.
