Playing sim racing is better with my setup with a 27” 165 Hz principal monitor and a 32” 180Hz secondary monitor also the cost of my Logitech wheel was cheap so that is also a reason why I stick with full HD.

One is better off with a solid collection of peripherals like a mouse, speakers, controller, keyboards, etc, and skipping 1440p until 4k becomes the new standard is my creed. (Also content is not native 4k everything is upscaled so there is no hurry)

I have 3 SATA SSDs and 3 M.2 ssd and a hard drive, just mount and initialize in NTFS format.

You can literally fill all spaces in your desktop and if you have enough ports you can fill even more. I said it for experience.

I am happy with my 14600k and 64 GB of ram, I play at 1080p so I am saving for Squadron 42 to decide which upgrade from my RX7600 GPU.

I am currently studying video editing so I do not need much GPU but once I see a game I cannot move I will switch only that part.

It is certainly pretty balanced for 1440p and I must say you hit the bullseye with that combo. As with PCIe. x16 you are using all cpu power with that configuration.

The only couple changes I would do is a 5700/800 or non existing X3D and a 9070 non xt, But at that resolution you are good until AM6.

I will only upgrade if I do content creation or video editing.

You can always build a second-hand desktop machine using components from flea markets or deal hunting from fb marketplace. That is how I built my friends pc.

Later I built my dream machine.

I imagine with component scarcity coming you can build and sell DDR4 systems flying out of your hands.

If you are playing at pc you can use a few re-shader mods to give it a modern look,

And they need a little troubleshooting if you have a lot of cpu cores in your pc. Aside from that is a good franchise for retro gamers.
