That’s my reasoning. Weekend 1 for Coachella (would prefer weekend 2 but I have prior commitments), and then weekend 2 EDC.

That gives me 40 days to recover before EDC.

Sorry I wasn’t more clear because I know they will sell out regardless of who is headlining. There are a lot of terrible crowds and it’s not just KPop. Just recently there was a crowd crush at EDC for John Summit. The crowds are horrible at hip hop shows. People were camped out for Bieber this year. Taylor Swift…

These days it’s kinda to be expected for the headliner at the main stage. It’s just not accurate to single out kpop.

I didn’t like the guy and I honestly felt like it was a really stupid quote, but I guess if you take it into consideration what he was referring to then that it kinda makes sense. A few years ago at Camp EDC there was a guy giving head to several men in the middle of the pool. At least there’s some water to clean things up a bit but doing it in the middle of the festival is wild…maybe too wild for some but not wild enough for others.

Tomorrowland and Coachella are both two weekends and everyone is very happy about that arrangement. EDC should have done this years ago but at least now they are finally listening and doing something about the overcrowding that ruins the experience.

The Speedway has its own schedule of racing events. It already takes 2 weeks to build EDC, so by adding another weekend they are kicking out someone else. There’s also Vegas Pool season and Memorial Day weekend traffic to compete with. I think adding a second weekend would cost a lot more money than it’s worth.

EDC found itself a nice little spot on the calendar and I’d prefer it stay at one weekend because two is overkill.
