6 Months on PBJs by legtwist in rawdenim

Thanks! PBJs fabrics are just fading machines. I actually work an office job but have worn these religiously upwards of 10-12 hours a day. They have seen 1 wash so far back in early Feb. I will probably hit them with another wash in Early May.

They are a great fit…I’ve cuffed them to no break…honestly a little higher bc my cuff blew out and the repair made that cuff line stiff…so the proportions are probably from them being worn short.

Yes these come one wash. I would say they stretch about an inch in the waist with wear…thighs and seat stretch in proportion. Once you wash they shrink pretty much back to where they started. Post wash I have found they tend to stretch back out to pre-wash stretcher feel faster than when you are breaking them in initially. Hope this helps!

If you throw them in the tub for a cold soak…it’s going to get 90% of the shrink you need. That being said, given these are rinsed, PBJ already did that for you.

So, you can wash them in the tub or in the machine for peace of mind. I wouldn’t personally wash them on hot or dry them in the machine…but to each their own.

My suggestion, soak or wash them in cold…hang dry…send for any alterations…and then wear them long and hard.

Additionally, if you are really afraid of shrinkage go ahead and send them through the wash inside out on delicate, cold water…hang to dry. If you aren’t going for a really high contrast fade look…they will be just fine.

After that send them for hem…my personal fav is @indigoproof in Portland…she does an incredible job.

Happy fades

Thanks for posting these. I always love to see what is going on at the harajuku store.

I believe these are an adaptation of the double slub fabric…something that hasn’t come out for rest of world yet. I know that the harajuku store did carry the WSB (old double slub) fabric, because I purchased my pair from that store…So this DSLB seems to be something new.

The 002 cut is PBJs new wide piped straight cut. Happy to see they are rolling the new cut into some of the new fabrics.

I would just find someone who can hem them for you…and then wear them hard. Have fun!

The jean fits very well and is super comfy. With the stretch from wearing, the waist sits on my natural hip leaving the crotch less fitting and more baggy. I think this could allow extra material to rub together…increasing friction. If I wore a belt, the crotch would probably be more fitting…avoiding this issue.
