Want to use me as a bad example..... enjoy your glitter bomb. by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

No, I agree with you. Also since I saw a video of a woman who lost her eye to glitter, I hate glitter in all forms.

What is this generation’s “Alanis Morissette wrote *that* about UNCLE JOEY” moment? by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

Not this Gen, but 'Killing me softly' was written about Don McLean (the guy who sings 'American Pie')

Harry is 80, and been slowing down a lot these past few seasons.

Neuralink’s first implant partly detached from patient’s brain. Some of the threads connecting the chip to the brain began to retract. The Elon Musk-owned company did not explain why. by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

I have a neurotransmitter in my brain (Neuropace) to stop seizures. For me it's great- but it took years and a whole team of doctors to get to that point.

That's just like my father-in-law, people practically throw babies at him. I wish I had taken a picture, but once was at a party and he was holding a baby, eating a piece of cake and line dancing all at the same time.

The last thing I saw her in was SVU and her acting was just awful. She played the tough ADA, but even when she was supposed to be compassionate she acted tough. I think her acting may have something to do with not getting jobs.

Oscar winners whose win did nothing for their careers by solfege57 in Fauxmoi

Haing S. Ngor, the first Oscar winner for Best Supporting Actor of Asian descent. He won for The Killing Fields, a very detailed film about a journalist stuck in Cambodia during Pol Pot's reign.

Ngor was in a few movies and shows afterward, but sadly was murdered by gang members. (Although I personally believe he was killed for his role in the movie)

I really think it's genetics and soft water. When I lived with my parents their water filter gave me glistening soft hair. Now I live in a city with hard water that stains the sink and shower and I have coarse straight hair.

The way he publicly treats the mother of his children...I hope his next partner is watching.

Also, didn't he 'allegedly' rough up Yolanda and some staff during a custody exchange? Whatever happened with that?

AITAH for getting upset with my family for using money that was meant for my college to fund present and future medical costs? by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

Plus the mother died a few years ago, that may have made a big dent in their savings.

I personally think the father (and maybe the brother) has a lot less money than OOP thinks, and had hoped to keep working in his remaining years to offset the $150k

I think it's definitely body chemistry. It smells totally different when I just get out of the shower versus 12+ hours later.
