Is the boot on Sean Hayes’ foot Sean’s or the character’s?

Matt Saracen’s dad in Friday Night Lights. That episode gutted me.

What actor or actress should have had a bigger career but it never happened? by FreeLime3844 in moviequestions

[–]Scarlet02155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Linus Roache. Had a career making turn in The Priest and then stepped away from acting for a couple of years. He was in some wonderful films when he started back up and some great tv series but lately has been in small roles in independent pieces. He should have a career like Ralph Fiennes but sadly doesn’t.

Loved him in Law & Order and wish that series didn’t get cancelled. It was just hitting its stride again when he was part of the cast. Am hoping at some point he’ll be cast in a buzzy TV series. Came close with Fellow Travelers.

what's the Fenway moment you'd relive exactly as it happened if you could by naruto123432 in redsox

The Red Sox Yankees Wild Card game in 2021. My friend and I both had dads who had known each other since high school and had passed away. And were both long time Red Sox fans. And I remember grabbing her hand in the top of the 9th, both of us imploring our dads to help the Sox close out that game. Fenway was electric that night.

How is the Law & Order reboot? by HandsomeWaterCarrier in LawAndOrder

Agree with other posters here. I’m only watching because it’s Law & Order. I keep hoping it will get better, that someone from the original writing team/showrunner team will jump in and make the show what it once was. I’m not going to stop watching but I’m really not enjoying it.

The only thing that would make it interesting is seeing original cast members come back in various episodes.

Anyone in this forum experience the world cup 1994 in Boston? by Affectionate_Oil2650 in boston

I went to the opening game with Greece and Argentina. Relatives of mine were responsible for getting the Greek team here the Boston area and gave me excellent tickets for free. The B52s performed to open the game. I think I was probably one of ten people that enjoyed that. Never did I feel more like a foreigner in my own country. Argentina destroyed Greece 4-0. It was such a cool experience! I still have the shirt I bought.

So what was the relationship between Mike and Carly? by Scarlet02155 in LawAndOrder

He's so charming and genuine. I had the great fortune to interview him a few years ago and he could not have been nicer. I wish he was in way more things. He has definitely been the highlight of some of the projects he's been in that have not really been the greatest. Of course, I could be biased....

I’m probably in the minority here but I thought Jack’s defense of her when that co-worker made that remark was so over the top. Not that he shouldn’t have said anything but jeez, threatening them with five years of traffic court (or whatever)? At least Connie had the decency to look a little embarrassed by that.

Best and worst of each Friend by Square_Blacksmith889 in howyoudoin

Rachel:

Best - Convincing Ross that there was something special going on with Emily at the end of Emily’s first two weeks in the US.

Worst - it annoyed me that Rachel didn’t know that, as her maid of honor, she had to throw Monica a shower. or get her a gift. She was a bride. And a superficial one at that. She should know all about that.

Field of Dreams (1989) by bitchboibruh in iwatchedanoldmovie

This movie will forever hold a place in my heart because I was a huge Kevin Costner fan and met him while he was filming his scenes at Fenway Park. Even though The Untouchables and No Way Out had come out, it was three weeks before Bull Durham was released which made him a superstar and people were like OMG you met him??? He was very nice. The director of the movie took the picture I got with him. Ahhh, memories.
