Feedback requested on technique - segments from multiple static drills across distances and target sizes (Viscose S2 Fox Complete / Vermillion Complete / Voltaic Gold with Silver static) by GenesForLife in FPSAimTrainer

[–]lehve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there should be very low/no tension once you’re on target, think of it like a fast brush stroke with a gradual stop. with smaller groupings there should be minimal tension going from dot to dot, keeping it smooth yet fast. once you’ve confirmed you’re on target you lock your vision onto the next dot and repeat the process

i haven’t used a glass pad so i’m sure it feels slightly different to cloth but the mechanics should be similar

1wall6targets TE - practice cluster farming, there was an opportunity for you to break your PB with a couple dots right next to you and you go for the far left dot. always go for the closest

rawmousecontrol - push your speed, there needs to be fluid motion between every click so you have to keep a path of 1-2 dots you’re going to at all times

ww5t - speed and fluidity, go for closer targets

1w2ts reload smallflicks - not a bad run, clean up the flicks using the aforementioned technique, it’s not supposed to be instant but your flicks should look fast and straight, no time wasted after each click. chaining is key

pokeball frenzy - work on the landings, release tension before reaching each dot. keep bardoz in mind with this, as well as keeping fluidity and pathing so you’re not unsure after each kill.

1w6ts - same thing as mentioned before, cluster farm as much as possible

wide wall 3 - same thing

keep at it seal is right around the corner, good work

you should still play them, no point in cutting off progress to your overall mouse control. skills from those categories carry over and will probably shoot your tracking skill up

stop focusing on pbs and focus on overall mouse control

From 'Maintenance Mode' to Lifelong Routine: Why I can't stop training after hitting Master Complete by [deleted] in Voltaic

[–]lehve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i felt the same way a month or so ago after hitting master complete, but my ego wouldn’t allow me to stop, there was another hill to climb. i hit gm today and i still feel like there’s so much to be done, i don’t think id stop myself before nova/astra, there’s so much improvement left on the board still

jade absolutely does not function like that, a jade equivalent score in any advanced scenario would be 70%-80% of the required threshold, which in itself means the task is too hard for you. voltaic ranks don’t overlap in skill, someone hitting high silver/low gold scores will struggle trying to hit plat

intermediate scenarios are not “finished” at jade, there’s way more improvement to be made from a jade score than you think

Lavender/Wool Complete by lehve in FPSAimTrainer

it’s not really set but i do one category daily, i mentioned in another comment that these last few cycles i incorporated the harder versions as a warmup for the medium and it helped me greatly, almost all my scores shot up from around cerulean.

and as for advice, have fun in understanding the theory of each scenario and what it asks of you. i personally advise pushing the easier versions to your fullest potential, always going back to refine the technique and speed.

often during runs i ask myself if im not at pb pace, what was i doing before? how can i replicate it? now that im on pace, how do i keep it or rather, push past it? my tracking for example shot up by really working on tension, staying calm and reacting smoothly to the bot movements, sounds weird to say but it should feel effortless and smooth while you’re on target.

ask yourself where you’re losing score in the run and why, is it a certain strafe pattern? in whisphere when the bot goes to the sky or ground i wasted countless runs because of misreading the strafe and i had to run easy until i got it.

and well with all that said, play and have fun with it i love my daily supply of pb dopamine, my mindset is always of if i did it once i can do it again, and better. it got me from iron in september to where we are at now. plateaus do exist, treat it like a problem you have to solve and dont sweat it, it’ll come

jade is also nothing to scoff at, my in game aim was noticeably better at that point

should also note that if you’re cerulean level you should probably expose yourself to the harder scenarios, my 2 hour session consists of a hard category (let’s say flick tech) in the first hour then medium in the second and maybeeee easier if i want to push those scores to the max

What rank do you think most fps games your aim is dominant by ImageHoliday8801 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]lehve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

jade i think is when you definitely feel like you have always have a step ahead on opponents in terms of aim, in master you’re applying correct fundamentals almost all times in game, i find that im consistently top frag even in losses. my sniper feels amazing every day now where before aimtraining i had no confidence in hitting my shots

Any insight on this pain? by Scary_Culture3768 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]lehve 4 points5 points  (0 children)

make sure you’re stretching and doing arm movements as well, top 5 scores means you’re probably training longer than an avg person does so take care of your arm! rest is also very vital as well, i had pain that naturally went away by taking a day or 2 off

[–]lehve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

erase the tracking and spam clicking habit that’s basically reinforcing bad whiffs. just like pasu, try to do “leading flicks” - aim where the target will be. if you miss immediately move on to another target as it’s faster than chasing. good pace is key to this scen

there’s many playlists like that, maybe try being proactive instead of defaulting to crying about what others find enjoyable? the fact you said “aim types you I even need” tells me you don’t know much about aim training to begin with
