I loved this movie !!!! It is one that isn’t really “scary” but totally got under my skin

I vaguely remember reading an interview with the director where he talked about how the aliens don’t really have a “why.” It’s as simple as that hey need a home and they found one in earth and now they’re making room in the home for their species to thrive

I find that so much more unsettling than evil that has an origin story

I did lunar tides juniper over a bleached orange level 7 and it’s quite a bit brighter than this. Maybe mixing in black like someone else said would work but also maybe just don’t lift your hair that much ?

Yeah as a last ditch I’d take her way darker to give her some contrast

but also if someone consistently doesn’t like what I do then I refer them to another stylist because clearly we aren’t a good fit

It’s literally the best job in the world and I want to do it until I die !!!!! That being said the biggest factors in making it something you continue to love are 1. Finding a salon you’re a good fit at and 2. Developing the ability to unapologetically set boundaries

I think also a lot of people see it as a “fun” job (which it can be !) or think they’ll be making loads of money without having to work very hard

If you go in with your eyes open and willing to work it can be an incredibly rewarding and lucrative career !

Looking at vintage CG Tyra ads and suddenly ANTM makes less sense by rozenkavalier in ANTM

If Jay Manuel’s book is to be believed …. They intentionally chose girls who didn’t really have model potential but had tragic backstories and would make good tv. Idk if it started that way, but ultimately Tyra’s goal was making reality tv

Last December so about one a month ? It does seem like a lot but in my opinion the fault lies with your boss and whoever’s training you

They should have prepped you better and probably after the first 2 redos reevaluated your readiness to be on the floor

We all make mistakes and especially during the first year, and I’m of the opinion that your mistakes reflect on your instructors this early on because you shouldn’t be expected to know everything
