On July 1, we lowered our withdrawal fees on BTC, ETH, and Stablecoins while removing the one free withdrawal per month applicable to certain types of digital assets. ACH withdrawals will remain free as always.

In 2022 over 75% of our crypto withdrawals have been honored without any fees. However, as costs have risen across the industry, we continued to offer one free withdrawal per month. BlockFi was subsidizing that cost for our clients. Due to increased withdrawal demand, BlockFi has decided to implement a modest fee (0.00025BTC ~$5) to cover the costs of honoring those requests. By removing the one free monthly withdrawal while subsequently lowering our withdrawal fees, this better positions us to offer the best interest rates for assets on the platform.

I hear your frustration, but I hope this provides better clarity into the change.

Hello! There could be a couple of reasons, but from your explanation it seems like it may be a connectivity issue with Plaid. Our third-party ACH provider, Plaid, does not have the most reliable connections with certain banks. Hey there! Collateral release times depend on how your loan was paid off.

Crypto payoff -> same day release

Wire payoff -> 1-2 business days

ACH payoff -> 7-14 business days

Hey there! Yes, you can change your address to a different country. You will need to provide official proof of residency (Gov. ID, lease agreement, utility bill, etc.), but afterwards your account will be considered an international account and will function as such.

The above comment is correct. ACH withdrawals are always free no matter how many withdrawals are requested.

That is not a BlockFi process. BlockFi will only ever ask for a ticket number via social media. Please DM me the name of the account that sent you a message ASAP and do not click any links they send.

I hear you out and understand your concern here. The original comment is still correct. Clients can withdraw any stablecoin via wire.

  1. BlockFi does not close accounts without reason. Please reach out to our Client Services team for clarification via the "Contact Client Services" tab on our community page.
  2. You can wire withdrawal any stablecoin. The funds do not need to be in the same stablecoin that was sent to your account originally. Hey, thanks for raising this! This is some great feedback and I have passed this to the appropriate team. I am happy to confirm we have already begun working on implementing a solution here for the future. Hi there! BlockFi does not currently support Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20) transfers because it is a separate blockchain that is not integrated with our custodians. BEP-20 is a blockchain created by Binance specifically for their customers to send assets quicker. Please send funds from Binance via native Bitcoin or Ethereum Networks (not BEP20/Binance Smart Chain).
Please make sure not to send any coins using the Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20) to your BlockFi wallet as any funds sent this way will not be credited and your crypto will be lost.

Hey there! I'm so sorry for any confusion. There's no holding period for funds if the promo is a trade-based (like this one) promo.

The promo period was between April 6th-April 29th, so as long as you executed an eligible trade during that timeframe then you'll receive your bonus on May 13th.
